Zille was an anti-apartheid activist, arrested and all that and the DA, back then were very much anti-apartheid, alot of what the international masses knew about apartheid and thanks to the likes of Zille and the DA back then. Says on the ANCs own website the Nats, who rebranded as the NNP, joined the ANC. Mbeki himself welcomed them with open arms calling it a historical day. Its frightening how oblivious the avg voter around the world, not just in South Africa, is of reality. But the same Hellen thought colonialism was beneficial and that DeKlerk dismantled apartheid out of his benevolence. As much as I agree on u but I sense a very strong white superiority in her responses. In her party they defend the colour of their own skin, very harsh in black ppl. She's talking sense in some of herpoints but stil we are not safe under a white party like DA. They are good at governing municipalities, and they should stop right there. We don't need a chaos at the national goverment level. There are other parties who have better policies than DA who can take the whole country forwar. What will keep DA away from winning black voters is their biased stance on racial quotas. ANC is out of the equation, no two ways abt that.
A true person of principle and sound value, I am a proud DA supporter, not because I'm white but because I believe in what my eyes show me. What we needed, was as you indeed said, what we need now is nothing short of a miracle. Given just the state of the economy, infrastructure, employment, healthcare, education, international relations, GDP, investor capital, cost of survival (not living), which is just some of the key metric that face an existential crisis leading to an existential crisis even if the ANC is out, will take at the very least a decade to see any future.

This channel is a blessing to people who seek knowledge.The perception I used to have about HZ before watching this interview was totally negative about her but after this interview my old perception was flushed away. As KZN born and who resides in the Ngonyama land I can with that most our beautiful land is under utilised because of that you can see people leaving KZN for Gauteng including myself no one prepared to do something that will bring jobs opportunities to the people residing there. I always ask myself why they don't lease part of the land to private investors so that they can create employment for the people of the province.

These kind of conversations are what every individual genuinely interested in the future of South Africa should be tuned into and thinking through every word that these politicians are feeding the nation. Mam’ Helen Zille articulated her points clearly. Most of what she spoke about makes a lot of sense. She is also very correct about the immigration issue, this populist idea that you can wake up and just round people up does not work in a democracy.There are laws and statutes to be followed once someone enters your country. Introducing strict anti corruption laws and regaining control of the law with severe consequences to those that break it, will naturally get rid of those who are in the country to conduct illicit businesses.

A good interview! Like all politicians, they promise heaven, but when they are faced with reality, they give excuses. I have a DA ward councillor in City of Tshwane, he has no solutions, even for simple ward issues. He 'll hide when you give him problems in the ward. Going forward we need to disabuse ourself of the notion that the politicians are there for us, and start building our communities ourselves, black and white.
No party is perfect and one ward councillor is not representative of a whole party. DA municipalities are head and shoulder above the broken ANC/EFF municipalities.

As much as I agree on u but I sense a very strong white superiority in her responses. In her party they defend the colour of their own skin, very harsh in black ppl. She's talking sense in some of herpoints but stil we are not safe under a white party like DA. They are good at governing municipalities, and they should stop right there. We don't need a chaos at the national goverment level. There are other parties who have better policies than DA who can take the whole country forwar. What will keep DA away from winning black voters is their biased stance on racial quotas. ANC is out of the equation, no two ways abt that.

What we needed, was as you indeed said, what we need now is nothing short of a miracle. Given just the state of the economy, infrastructure, employment, healthcare, education, international relations, GDP, investor capital, cost of survival (not living), which is just some of the key metric that face an existential crisis leading to an existential crisis even if the ANC is out, will take at the very least a decade to see any future.

I am not a proponent of an MPC, even in 2020 I thought they might consider this, but it remains politics Pieter, and who (in the event this would actually work) would preside in office? This channel is a blessing to people who seek knowledge.The perception I used to have about HZ before watching this interview was totally negative about her but after this interview my old perception was flushed away. As KZN born and who resides in the Ngonyama land I can with that most our beautiful land is under utilised because of that you can see people leaving KZN for Gauteng including myself no one prepared to do something that will bring jobs opportunities to the people residing there. I always ask myself why they don't lease part of the land to private investors so that they can create employment for the people of the province.

Mam’ Helen Zille articulated her points clearly. Most of what she spoke about makes a lot of sense.
She is also very correct about the immigration issue, this populist idea that you can wake up and just round people up does not work in a democracy.There are laws and statutes to be followed once someone enters your country. Introducing strict anti corruption laws and regaining control of the law with severe consequences to those that break it, will naturally get rid of those who are in the country to conduct illicit businesses.

A good interview! Like all politicians, they promise heaven, but when they are faced with reality, they give excuses. I have a DA ward councillor in City of Tshwane, he has no solutions, even for simple ward issues. He 'll hide when you give him problems in the ward. Going forward we need to disabuse ourself of the notion that the politicians are there for us, and start building our communities ourselves, black and white.
