But the same Hellen thought colonialism was beneficial and that DeKlerk dismantled apartheid out of his benevolence. Not a fan or supporter of her and the DA, but hate it or love it in reality she is top 5 most influential female politicians in the country in the past 10 years at least. Her brilliance is the reason I've always voted for DA. 22 years ago or so, I watched an election debate, and she was the only politician who was balanced and answered the questions openly and honestly.
This channel is a blessing to people who seek knowledge.The perception I used to have about HZ before watching this interview was totally negative about her but after this interview my old perception was flushed away. As KZN born and who resides in the Ngonyama land I can with that most our beautiful land is under utilised because of that you can see people leaving KZN for Gauteng including myself no one prepared to do something that will bring jobs opportunities to the people residing there. I always ask myself why they don't lease part of the land to private investors so that they can create employment for the people of the province.

A true person of principle and sound value, I am a proud DA supporter, not because I'm white but because I believe in what my eyes show me. Ideologies will not save SA, we need good governance with business skills. DA does deliver this. We need to vote for what counts, electricity, water, health, safety and most importantly education. What we needed, was as you indeed said, what we need now is nothing short of a miracle. Given just the state of the economy, infrastructure, employment, healthcare, education, international relations, GDP, investor capital, cost of survival (not living), which is just some of the key metric that face an existential crisis leading to an existential crisis even if the ANC is out, will take at the very least a decade to see any future.

As much as I agree on u but I sense a very strong white superiority in her responses. In her party they defend the colour of their own skin, very harsh in black ppl. She's talking sense in some of herpoints but stil we are not safe under a white party like DA. They are good at governing municipalities, and they should stop right there. We don't need a chaos at the national goverment level. There are other parties who have better policies than DA who can take the whole country forwar. What will keep DA away from winning black voters is their biased stance on racial quotas. ANC is out of the equation, no two ways abt that.

Introducing strict anti corruption laws and regaining control of the law with severe consequences to those that break it, will naturally get rid of those who are in the country to conduct illicit businesses.

That's enough to damn you in the eyes of many political parties in SA. Pity we can't clone her. Imagine a parliament full of such clear thinking people. Excellent interview.

Her brilliance is the reason I've always voted for DA. 22 years ago or so, I watched an election debate, and she was the only politician who was balanced and answered the questions openly and honestly.
This channel is a blessing to people who seek knowledge.The perception I used to have about HZ before watching this interview was totally negative about her but after this interview my old perception was flushed away. As KZN born and who resides in the Ngonyama land I can with that most our beautiful land is under utilised because of that you can see people leaving KZN for Gauteng including myself no one prepared to do something that will bring jobs opportunities to the people residing there. I always ask myself why they don't lease part of the land to private investors so that they can create employment for the people of the province.

A true person of principle and sound value, I am a proud DA supporter, not because I'm white but because I believe in what my eyes show me. Ideologies will not save SA, we need good governance with business skills. DA does deliver this. We need to vote for what counts, electricity, water, health, safety and most importantly education. If ANC had done this over the past 30 years I would have voted for them, but they have not, so I won't. Go DA go! 💙❎💙
What we needed, was as you indeed said, what we need now is nothing short of a miracle. Given just the state of the economy, infrastructure, employment, healthcare, education, international relations, GDP, investor capital, cost of survival (not living), which is just some of the key metric that face an existential crisis leading to an existential crisis even if the ANC is out, will take at the very least a decade to see any future.

As much as I agree on u but I sense a very strong white superiority in her responses. In her party they defend the colour of their own skin, very harsh in black ppl. She's talking sense in some of herpoints but stil we are not safe under a white party like DA. They are good at governing municipalities, and they should stop right there. We don't need a chaos at the national goverment level. There are other parties who have better policies than DA who can take the whole country forwar. What will keep DA away from winning black voters is their biased stance on racial quotas. ANC is out of the equation, no two ways abt that.

Firstly interviewer did a great job and I have to admit Helen Zille is absolutely spot on. I judged her from sensationalist headlines and never heard her speak in long format. I was impressed. We need just need practical policy to lay the foundation to grow the economy and RULE of LAW and things will flow from there. Idealist politics will tank this country. Mam’ Helen Zille articulated her points clearly. Most of what she spoke about makes a lot of sense.
She is also very correct about the immigration issue, this populist idea that you can wake up and just round people up does not work in a democracy.There are laws and statutes to be followed once someone enters your country. Introducing strict anti corruption laws and regaining control of the law with severe consequences to those that break it, will naturally get rid of those who are in the country to conduct illicit businesses.
