@@diablonerd9612 Brooklyn Underground FM imo is a mix between Hard Trance and Breakbeat Hardcore, in general rave music. It doesn't feature that many acid synths to be fair. Funami FM from GTA2 was acid techno/breaks.
_Benzonate_ sounds like a song you would hear in MSX FM/98. _Figiwhiz_ instead, sounds like a song you would hear in Rise FM. This game's radio songs are just so awesome to be only in the first GTA game, this feels like something you would hear in GTA III radio stations.
only "Grand Theft Auto" is the only song that appeared in almost the entire Grand Theft Auto saga gta 1, gta 2, gta 3 (song and pager theme) , gta vc (8-bit version), gta IV, TLAD, TBOGT (ringtone version)
Man all these stations from GTA 1 bring back great memories I was Probably in middle school when this came out and I don't know how I was able to sneak this past my parents but I talked my Dad into buying this game for me and besides the graphics gameplay was like no other and the music was phenomenal thanks for posting this
Totally forgot that the original GTA had a Jungle/Rave music station. It's like a mix of RISE FM and MSX FM from GTA 3
Brooklyn Underground FM is based on Soul/Techno
Known as Funami FM,Rise FM and MSX FM's Grandpa
@@diablonerd9612 How is this soul xD
@@Jeansowaty It's acid actually

GTA 1 (1997):Brooklyn Underground FM and The Fix FM
GTA 2 (1999):Funami FM
GTA 3 (2001):Rise FM and MSX FM
GTA LCS (2005):MSX '98
rise fm was in gta lcs too. Electro-Choc and Soulwax fm can also be mentioned, but they don't have that "underground" sound
Drum'n'bass stayed back in the 90's...
VC - Wildstyle Pirate Radio, Fever 105
SA - SF-UR
LCS - RISE FM, MSX98
VCS - Fresh 105, Paradise FM
IV - Electro-Choc
TLoD - Electro-Choc/Vladivostok FM
‘’TLAD’’
Too bad R* has moved away from DnB in GTA
in Gta 3 there was DnB
we not talking about 3. IV and V lacked DnB.
There was a mod for GTA IV called Blueprint X, which featured Codebreaker as an MC and played late 2000's dnb.
The genre doesn't really live a very mainstream life as it used to do back in the day. Unfortunately.
@@Marcusml333 Doesn't mean there wouldn't be pirate stations in LA playing DnB.

this shit hits hard, extremely nostalgic
This type of music improves the mood to just crash everything.
Figiwhiz is the best one! reminds me of Rise FM
+The Raving Trancer Totaly agree ! Simply because there nothing better than Trance music ^^
The old gta games have better in house music than the 5 and 4 wtf
