I was shocked by how weird and crazy it was which is my taste actually and the only other author who does crazy peak stuff is Fujimoto Now I saw that the author of dandadan was assistant of Fujimoto (CSM author) so it all makes sense now Bro learned it from the goat himself 🐐
Definitely check out the manga, the author was an assistance of fujimoto (csm author), The art style, character design is outstanding. Story and world building is still weird to this day but sure worth your time.
Dandadan's all episodes have been completely animated before even airing the first ep, mad respect to the studio science saru and the staff working on it

The least I can say is that it's a space opera, something like Code Geass X Star Wars 💀 Also I would say go for the classic series of 1988, rather than the modern adaptation (I haven't actually watched the modern adaptation titled as "Die Neue These"), many people like even Gigguk recommends the newer version to enter the world of "LOGH". I can't comment on that, you can choose which one to watch. But my personal recommendation would be to go for the classic series, it's definitely worth it. If you're going for the classic OVA series of 110 episodes, here's the watch order. Firstly, watch the movie "My Conquest Is the Sea of Stars", then watch the movie "Overture to a New War", then start from episode 3 of the OVA series.

I think it is but childish 🤔. And that's makes the audience feel that it is weird. Yet yes, it's childish nature makes it little bit comedic. Also it's this nature also helps it to make a little romantic while keeping comedic pace. Atlast it is good and actually weird (childish but the matured concepts are shown as they are nothing.). Yet it can be improved in story besides weird animation.

@@Erenjeager_liton Yeah definitely, it's one of the greatest anime of all time. About the story, let it be a secret for you to unravel while watching the show. The least I can say is that it's a space opera, something like Code Geass X Star Wars 💀
Also I would say go for the classic series of 1988, rather than the modern adaptation (I haven't actually watched the modern adaptation titled as "Die Neue These"), many people like even Gigguk recommends the newer version to enter the world of "LOGH". I can't comment on that, you can choose which one to watch. But my personal recommendation would be to go for the classic series, it's definitely worth it.
If you're going for the classic OVA series of 110 episodes, here's the watch order. Firstly, watch the movie "My Conquest Is the Sea of Stars", then watch the movie "Overture to a New War", then start from episode 3 of the OVA series.

Dan Da Dan specializes in showing extremely serious/darker topics with a light-hearted/weird twist. (like how the girl was basically sa'd in EPISODE 1). No wonder the mangaka was fujimoto's assistant during Fire Punch 🙃
