- This video is mostly for fun dry comedy. I took some liberties in trying to connect the game to the actual Universal Century and talk about it like in a national geographic documentary.
As for the way I decided to make this video? Let's just say that I got a bit of a headache trying to get some good game play out of this old suit.
I don't exactly hate it or think it's bad, but it's definitely not for me.

I remember migrating to 500 and up
Eventually I found myself maining heavy gundam at 600
It felt good and I scored well
Even among the chosen elite of our species however luck is against us
And a freakish natural disaster brought me to my grave(console died)
And to good friends like the gelgoog jager our times in 450 were fun while it lasted ;-;

That weathering effect at the end is fucking heartbreaking. You hate to see it. Never even heard this tragic tale until today.

Do not worry, For I like many others stand as stanch defenders of supports. One day we will have good teams that give a rats ass about us... One day the raid players will remember when they struggled and will leave our homes... Then we can hunt like we once did... One day... Perhaps some day...
I still have my Heavy, he gets to mow down gens when we go out... but with all the bad teams that we have been getting, he is finding it harder and harder to summon the will to go out into the battlefield...

Heavy gundam was a beast at 1st and now forgotten in the wildlife of suit collection, wish BB would buff old suits to match up todays supports. Also Gunner Gundam whats that? 😅

Dude, this video is hilarious. i would love to sortie with you. My favorite suit was always the gm guard custom. heavy gundam was my runner-up. The nerfs that came as the unicorn took a massive dump on the old suits forced me into other suits. i liked your sniper two video as well.
Thanks. This was really the best way I could think of doing a video for this suit. And yeah. The nerfs have been pretty bad on some suits more than others. And the power creep on the older ones is almost criminal.

Just gotta say. It’s just rather poor nowadays. Powercreep probably I guess. Least they buffed it’s gatling range to be equal to the Gigan. But it’s still got many areas to improve. Areas that don’t seem that hard to fix honestly. Like make the cannon stun regardless of charge. Increase gatling range and missile range. and all stun values need to increase
I like to think of the DP and RC stores as the endangered species list.
Still remember basically being able to stunlock with this in the early days. Was fun, EZ 1st place

Heavy Gundam is one of my friend's favourite, no matter how much people call it _garbage_ .

I do need training with _Zero Shiki type AR_ more as, i suppose this MS can be really good in any situation. 🤔
While, _GPO4_ is... a mixed up SUPPORT.
It have *low ammo* for maintaining long range battle, but seems have potential for mid-close combat. Though, the *HP* and *melee defense* really likes to decline that.
( the GPO4 with 18K HP can be melted by 1 GENERAL that has "2 melee weapons" in 4 seconds )

@@LilyBeta I haven't used GPO4 in a while, but i do remember relying more on hit and run melees if i ever did have to fight in close quarters.
I never got this gundam, but if I do on PC version someday, I will gladly fight for our fallen battle brothers whom once stood proud with this very gundam, there has to be a way for them even now.
It should be available in the datapoint store. It also shouldn't cost too much if you're really interested in trying it out.

My Heavy Gundam cosplays as a Gundiver so raids would be more indecisive and think I can stunlock them.

Its ok i am one of those guys who plays this at 450 and 500 and am almost always within the top 3 of total score and always with the top damage delt and kills. This suit is good in the right hands. Just stay back and never stop firing. Also the arena colony map with the circle of death in the middle of the map with almost nothing else to the match is unfortunately were these things go to die.

I remember back in those days the heavy gundam meant something. Now its a testament to what was once a powerful suit. Power creep sucks man.
Power creep does have a way of killing a player's favorite MS. Typical Gotcha game :(
@@Mobilesuitk9 I play the Pale Rider DII at 450 in memory of the Heavy Gundam. It's similar, but also has injectors so I'm not just standing around to die and Melee controller 1 to allow myself the illusion of safety.

Same. It wasn't anywhere near as fun as the Sniper II or Sniper Custom. I'd prefer to stick with the Full Armor Gundam if i want to use a bulky support at 450. The FA Gundam can even do some damage at 650. This one, on the other hand, struggles to swim in 550.
@@Mobilesuitk9 Yeah. Sniper 2 custom is fun. Im new but getting better now that I understand the goal of breaking legs where possible and doing combo attacks to rack up bigger damage. I still feel more comfortable playing at sub 500 costs. Using the GM II general or the GM support around the same tier has been my recent bread & butter. I do like the armor gundam with the dual arm beam rifle thing as well.

@@LilyBeta Yeah. Some suits at least have shields that you can make stronger with custom parts to make up for it, but it still isn't enough in most cases.

Even if SUPPORT got shield, RAID have solution by just "rapid shoot it" or using "wrist glue" them.
SUPPORT have little solution for survival. Solely depend on the team for it but, doomed if team can't maintain the frontline regardless.
( a breach on frontline can threaten SUPPORT to its death in a mere seconds )

still its years above gunner gundam aka the worst support in the game (dont say zaku diver one that doesnt exists its a terrible myth)

@@quasideificalpaca I've only used it on a few occasions. The first time i ever did i accidentally confused it for the Gundam Ground Type. I was really confused when i couldn't dodge roll at the start of the match lol. But i eventually got the hang of it. What would you recommend for the buffs?
