I pretty much started out with the same "add-on" mentality, but in a different order: red dot, backup irons, light/laser, sling, suppressor, (& maybe a 3x magnifier, but rare). ...That's generally my typical order of importance
I bought my first one and then started tinkering with it (trigger, buffer system, safety selector, charging handle, muzzle device, etc.). Then we built one for my son from scratch and a build monster was born. They can be quite addictive to build if you get the bug. And if you find the right components you can make some of the nicest shooting ARs you’ll ever pull the trigger on.
I agree. It's better to just buy your first rifle, modify it in time and then build one when you have more experience with the platform. What was the grip on the shorty? It looks like a BCM, but not sure.
Whenever I hear folks refer to the AR as a 'lego' gun amuse me to no end. Stacking tolerances is a real thing that can go 'wrong' in a hurry. Love the set up of that little 7.5
I tailor towards a mission set. What will all around be efficient, versatile, modular, and finally preform to standard or higher in every situation possible. I will never own more than two just because for me it wouldn’t tailor to the situations I’m in, 14.5, and 20 inch 5.56 is my go to. Good video kawa, always killing it!🤙🏻
Just finished building my 11.5" AR...since I didn't have to do upgrades and could get the mid tier parts cheap[er overall, it was a huge savings...when compared to buying an AR, then doing the upgrades, which i desired.
I would much rather take the step to buy first. The research and effort to tailor to the mission makes all the difference, no matter what or where you’re at! Customizing the rifle to your needs is a necessary task but can only be done after understanding the needs/wants through training behind said rifle on the range or off during dryfires
@MelissaATX Hello, not every comment will get a response. However, if you have training inquiries, you can email info@2alphatraininggroup.com. To answer your question, there are multiple outdoor ranges near Austin. Look up Staccato Ranch near Georgetown. We will be teaching there in the future.
@@2AlphaTrainingGroup yes I do actually😈 I’d like to see the Specter Cat WB 718 5.56 vs the PTR Vent 3. But there are very few videos on the Cobalt Scrambler. The videos that are out there are mainly marketing videos. We the people need no BS straight up reviews. Also if you know how to get a titanium can to not spark every shot, I’d love to see a video on that. My CGS Helios looks like a sparkler at night.

As long as it makes sense to you👊🏽👊🏽
Try primary arms for magnified microprism optics...at under 9oz...when compared with red dot & magnifier combo.

The foregrip is BCM the pistol grip is B5 Systems🤙🏻
@@ADHDFuel The same grips I run on my rifle. Thanks!
Great video bro!
Thanks man 🙏🏽👊🏽

And unfortunately you can only carry one or two at a time lol. I had a 10.5” in my go bag and carried an SPR. 🙏🏽👊🏽

Agreed. Application will dictate your configurations but experience will earn you the best set up for you.
Put the link to your training classes on here
Good idea 🙏🏽👊🏽
Can you please do a dedicated video on the can
It'll be in queue
Bro whoever runs your social media needs to get it together. No response to email or IG about courses.
Dm @2alpha_traininggroup on IG for course info. Not sure why your DMs or emails aren’t getting answered.
@@2AlphaTrainingGroup I did that, but I’ll try again. Thanks, man

@MelissaATX No problem! Try again. We just got it fixed not too long ago 🙏🏽
@MelissaATX HMU, I’ll help. I’m in TX now
Do you have a video of that cobalt can shooting at night?
We can do one in the future. We plan to a suppressor video in the future.
If you have suggestions, we are all ears

Maybe you were shadow banned but it’s been awhile since I’ve seen content from ya
Def SB on IG but on YT, I was in a hiatus. Getting back to it now and you’ll be seeing a lot more on here 👊🏽
Is that the Inconel or Titanium Scrambler?
