I dont understand how this podcast doesnt get more views and likes. I cant watch live or right away…usually at work…like now. Such good guests and a wealth of info…..i also love that you dont shove product down our throats. Although I have more Vortex scopes , binos and gear then any other company.
Brady Miller is a wealth of knowledge on all things Western Big Game hunting and applications. I have been an INSIDER for 3 years and its a great platform, always growing and adding Value for the same cost of entry. His and Trail's Strategy Articles are extremely helpful when making your application plan. I am sure those 10x50 Razor UHDs are sweet, I like my Diamondback 10x42s so I know that I would like those even more. Brady would not have killed that deer with a wide cut mechanical. He hit it too far back and then the other acts of nature happened. At least he owned up to it somewhat, even if he made the switch back. But he has to use fixed if Archery 🏹 hunting in Idaho.
As @MikeStennett said, please turn down the sensitivity of the mics as the mouth sounds make this almost impossible to listen to with headphones. Love the podcast, keep it up.
I wanted a 10x50 so bad but really wanted to go UHD as an upgrade so settled for 10x42 UHD. They are awesome, but I literally bought them a month ago and then this! I love you guys but if I'd known these were in the works to be released this year I would have held off.
👋🏼 I searched your channel/site for the subject: Rifle “CHASSIS” and did Not see any full content on this. I’m a hunter that would like you to discuss various options from Lightweight to Long Range etc. 🙏
We do have a few podcasts on this subject. Ep. 122 covers Ultralight Rifles, we have a 10 Minute Talk about Why a Lightweight Rifle Isn't Always Better, we also have our newest podventure series where Mark and Jimmy compete in their first PRS Match where we have a podcast "Not All Long-Range" Rifles Are Created Equal that might be of interest. There's also a couple of long range shooting episodes as well! If you're wanting to hear a podcast specifically about chassis specifically to different hunting rigs we can absolutely add that to our suggestions!
Highly recommend checking out our blog in addition to the podcast which you can find at vortexoptics.com We would also suggest reaching out to your local DNR to see if they have any mentorship programs!
I think I have watched too many of these episodes. Am I the only Vortex nerd to notice the memorabilia on the shelf behind Brady and that one item is a party hat from the 100th episode celebration with the ice cream cake in the shape of tacos?
I can’t believe Jim pasted away, I’m really gonna miss him being on the podcasts! He was definitely the life of the party and knew what questions to ask.
Y’all rock keep it up.
Thanks for all of your support :)

That is great to hear - we really appreciate it! Thanks for being a part of Vortex Nation!

Agreed, great content between everyone speaking so quietly and with Brady mumbling, I keep having to turn up the volume

We appreciate all the support, my friend!
Love the podcast! It would be really cool to see you guys do a podcast on big bore rifles and their cartridges 😎
Appreciate the suggestion! We can see what we can do!
How long for some AB laser range finding UHD’s? How long for some UHD spotters?
There's no plans for those at this time, but we can definitely pass the request along to our NPD team. We appreciate the feedback!
When are we going to receive an update on the 6.5 BC?
Stay tuned ;)

I’m in CA and want to get into hunting. As a noob do you guys have a podcast on the subject or any resource I should start looking into?

Good eye! You'll notice a ton of cool items from previous episodes on the shelves of the Podcast Studio!
This guy says ‘like’ every 4 words
Unfortunately these sites and services like Go hunt have decreased the amount of resources in the west and now it's just more people.
Love the podcast but as av/sounds tech this killed me
Hunting in the U.S. seems complicated. South Africa is easier, maybe it works out more expensive here.

Wait!What?
I was told he passed away
By a pretty good source (his family member)
Yo that’s sad af if that’s true
Awe man that is incredibly sad if true. He brought so much to this podcast and the company as a whole, aside from his continual car 🚗 analogies. RIP 🙏
Dang go hunt sounds cool but $150/year is not gonna be easy to explain to the wife.
It's better to ask for forgiveness ;)
