    I’d love to see him say it’s okay not to allow a man to swim in a womens league on campus, “like it’s totally okay that you don’t believe what I believe.” Yeah, I think the reason you’re on that list is that students got the sense you weren’t actually that ‘open-minded,’ and time has all but validated their concerns.

    Adam, Are you serious that you do not want to change the students opinion of the church and the school? You might want to check with the Board of Trustees as to what they want taught the school.

    I'm curious why his classes know that he is pro-gay, anti-Trump and wants to change church policies. Maybe he should keep his personal views personal and just teach his class.

    The difference is that people send their kids to BYU for a specific type of education. The university is private and church owned. It does not receive tax dollars in the way a state university would. LDS members cannot be pro-LGBTQ in the way the world thinks. For example, the LDS church kicks out members that enter a same sex marriage or who engage in transgender surgery.
