  • This is my 6th Fazer, just like the NC750x they are practical fun and a bike that does the job what ever you through at it.
    To many people saying we need new bikes there better than the old bikes.

      Does yours have aftermarket exhaust? I'm just went from a yzf600r that had a full system to a stock exhaust fz6 and in the low rpms it sounds like a scooter. I immediately bought an aftermarket exhaust it's in the mail

    Morning Paul. I have been looking at these older bikes, especially the Fazer’s. There are some cracking, low mileage, well maintained examples about, for not a lot of money. When I had my Hornet 600, the MK1 Fazers were about, and I did ride my mate’s. When pushing along, I thought the front end was slightly vague when compared to the Hornet, but that might be due to a number of factors, so wouldn’t put me off. Nice ride, thanks for sharing.

      @birchwoodbiker  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It's funny Ive had 3 600 Hornets my last one was the last of the inline 4, the Mk1 Fazer had a weaker suspension back and front, I think 39mm forks MCN will have the stats, but I prefered the carbs, BUT the cb600fa is a better bike hands down, i've just put the old video public it had the cbrr dash, I've never seen one like since👍👍👍

    I got my bike a month ago and it's really fun. Could get myself into a lot of trouble 😅 I have just as much on this as I did on the FZR 1000 back in the day. For me being 110Kg plus gear the suspension is lacking when I start getting into it. But it's not difficult to fix and there are numerous ways to do it without selling a kidney. I find the throttle a bit aggressive on the low end, but I hear it's a thing with these early injection bikes. Oh yeah, it's a 2006 s1 with 28k km on it, payed 2.6k pounds.
    Enjoy your ride! 👌

    I had a 2003 model back in around 2004 but I had to get rid of it due to it had a cutting out problem where the power would randomly just cut out, then cut back in violently. This would happen most often when going around roundabouts after a good thrash out, and was really dangerous and made me not trust the bike.
    Otherwise it's a great bike and handles really well, is fast and comfy too.
    I remember taking it back to Alf England's bike shop and telling them about the fault after a few weeks, but they couldn't replicate the it, so I traded it in for a Thundercat instead.
    Around a month after that, Yamaha did a recall for the fault which my bike had and I was exonerated.

      @@birchwoodbiker Yes. They are pretty raw for a 600cc sport compared to what is available today. I liken them to the Mt-10 to the R1. Basically Yamaha said they were going to go all out and put an R6 into a sport and skimp on injection and play games detuning the thing for torque and it backfired. They replaced it on the market as quick as possible with the FZ6R.
      Again. It's not a beginner bike.....but the price point was there. Yamaha went full retard.
      I was riding with a bud who has an early Raider 1900 with a tuned power commander and I wrapped right around him both on full throttle and he is experienced with that bike. He was at a loss for words when we stopped for him to gas his gorgeous hog up. They're special little things. Not Super sports. But damn, they're quick and comfortable.

      @IndependantMind168 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      @@joedanero5360That explained it nicely. They're not kid bikes. The FZ6R was a smart move towards the 650 torque market at the time. These were bikes to have noobs on that weren't experienced. When they realized it was an animal past a certain dead spot it became bad for the brand.

      I've got mine up for sale and really don't know weather just to keep it, after riding the e clutch putting it towards a new inline four, but really don't need to they are just brilliant, II bet Canada has some amazing roads ride safe👍👍👍
