@@scottdsteele this is the first video of yours that my sister and I watched and we found it very confusing. We had no idea if one of those bedrooms was on the main floor or what's on the 2nd floor. Plus I was screaming about not seeing the room across from the pantry doors. I'm glad to hear you usually do a walk through. And definitely add the b roll in. There are lots of people online who do that really well. But we'll definitely check out your past videos!
@@ruthg3732 I love your input and I will be adapting as I improve by don't a walk through as well as adding the cool shots so that it isn't confusing. Thank you so much!!!
I’m lost. One minute I’m looking at the front entrance, next minute random cabinetry? Where in the home was that? I get a better feel for the home when the videographer goes room to room.
Hi Amber! The intro does bounce around a lot and I know that I didn't give a full tour as though you were walking through it but I'm dedicated to getting better at this! This was one of my first video tours and I'm learning and trying to get better each time and you have no idea how much your feedback really helps me accomplish just that, so thank you!!
Nice white oak cabinets and floor. Just a suggestion. Some of us open house geeks love each room walked through. I don't really care for over explaining each detail but just a brief description. That's going to include a walk-through of the pantry and telling or showing linen closets. Yes closets. How else can we picture ourselves living there 😉 Thanks for the video. I will subscribe and see....
Hi Gwen, I'm trying to genuinly recieve feedback and I'm totally listening to what you're saying. I'm just working on getting a little better with each and every video. Thank you so much for the feedback and I'd love more of it!
Rage....I really really appreciate your constructive feedback. I'm in this for the long haul and love doing it and my goal is to get a little better each and every video. I really like this idea of tagging each room to make it easier to follow. I'll get something figured out. Thanks again!
I guess it's a personal preference for me, but I like the TH-cam home tours where instead of the annoying repetitive music, I get to listen to the agent talking about the home, describing its features and nuances. I love it when I'm shown through the front door, and then shown the home stem to stern in a way that shows the flow of the rooms, what's behind each door down the various hallways (storage, closets, pantries etc) with the camera shots following the flow of the tour guide's narrative with video of what he's talking about. I honestly detest the floaty zoom-ins with constantly changing views and angles. You can't see the actual flow and layout of the floorplan with that approach in my opinion. So I lasted about four minutes on this video. I'm not trying to be mean or to sound like a picky witch. I know how much work goes into editing your footage. But for me, this type of video tour isn't a tour at all. It's just it's shot after shot after shot of some camera person trying to make an artsy video when what's really needed is a logical progression through the home.
Thank you so much for that feedback! I've just gotten started and I've not only received that same feedback from many others, but I myself want to do exactly that as well and I know I'll have fun doing it. Again, thank you so much for that feedback because this is what will make me stretch and get better and better
This is a absolutely beautiful home….But while it’s a newer built home it still has that old school red brick and the inside just doesn’t match the outside. It’s truly modern on the inside….The red brick it’s nothing modern about it. However the inside they nailed…….
I totally get Wray you're saying. This builder has done several like this in 2022 and have pushed the design this direction which is unique but not for everyone, while I do think they did a great job
Not trying to be rude, just a comment. I found it very difficult to figure out a layout of the house. A lot of shots were too tight and the cuts made it impossible to figure out where you were in relation to the last shot. Just way too many cuts IMO.
Randy, thank you so so much! I don't consider this rude at all... in fact it's very very helpful and I appreciate your feedback! I'm just starting my TH-cam journey and I'm determined to get better, and I cringe at my first videos too!!
@@scottdsteele I'm glad you took it in the spirit it was intended, Scott. I look forward to following along with your progress. I really enjoy these house tour videos on YT. Best of luck!
Good point! It is on a busier neighborhood street (w/ painted lines) but it's not by any means a busy street. I would agree however that I would personally want this home on a less traveled street for sure.
It's interesting how style changes every decade and homes here have gotten really expensive so what 3.3 M is today is very different from what it was just 3-5 years ago
Very disappointed, filming was very disjointed 1, you are in the kitchen then the front entrance then the hidden pantry no flow to get the feeling on how the lay out
I truly appreciate the feedback, this is one of my very early videos and I had absolutely no ide how to use my new camera / lens / gimbal and was learning and still am. My goal is to improve with each and every video
These are the 3 tracks that I've used in this video... I hope this helps! Intro: "The Ethereal" by Ave Air Other Songs: "Carte Blanche" by Matt Large "Purple Beach" by Giants' Nest *All songs were downloaded from Epidemic Sound.
Disappointed, master bath should be big enough for two, closits in master to small, Needs sauna, needs at least 6 car garage for all my toys, great views, did I miss Pool and hot tub....I'll pass
It is in a prime area for views but the lot is very sloped and the home takes up most of it and the surrounding area is being developed so in a few years, it'll be much nicer there.

Now. THIS is a Forever Home . After a lifetime of working your tail off this is the home that is deserved.

Definitely prefer the walkthrough style to the B roll. This is a great house though, love the lighting with the sunset its beautiful
Noted! I think that I might integrate both into the same video and see how people like it. I'd love your feedback for sure!

The video is good, I just wish you were more in it, and gave us a tour
Thank you so so much for that feedback! I've actually decided to do more of that exactly!
@@scottdsteele Great, I will follow you then!!

I also saw throw home in person!!! It’s gorgeous!!!

I have to say I really do like that house. The house is a little pricey but the quite and luxury of can't be beat.
I agree! And the views @ sunset are unbelievable.
Great video and love the house!

great

Concordo. é lindo!
There was such an opportunity for a fabulous staircase, they missed it. The cabinets were another miss.
I agree with you on the staircase for sure and with the cabinets, I personally love what they've done but it's one opinion💥
The Views are what makes this home a show stopper.... and what about that kitchen!?
The kitchen is amazing!!!
Enjoy Life.... I agree!

Grazie!
Get a wider lens camera and less focus on book shelves. I don't get a feel of the home or what it looks like due to the zooming in on cabinets.
Great advice, thank you so much!

I'll have to check again, it's a track from epidemic sound (copyright free site)
@Ryan Elfman, that song at the start is called "The Ethereal" by Ave Air and I downloaded it from Epidemic Sound.

impressive home, but it looks like it is built off of a pretty heavily used road. Would have expected something a little more private. Just sayin.
Good point! It is on a busier neighborhood street (w/ painted lines) but it's not by any means a busy street. I would agree however that I would personally want this home on a less traveled street for sure.
Idk it's kinda bland for 3.3 million. Love the Exterior of the house the Brick and light charcoal tones are nice.
It's interesting how style changes every decade and homes here have gotten really expensive so what 3.3 M is today is very different from what it was just 3-5 years ago
Nice house, but seems like people are afirad of color and texture inside. So neutral and monotone
You're right! It really does need some pops of color for sure
Who is this guy? Doug Demuro for houses with his scores 😂
