  • Jeremy Corbyn has spent thirty two years on Parliament's back benches. Even just a few months ago he seemed certain to stay there - a mild mannered but staunch champion of left-wing causes. So how come he now stands on the brink of power?

We are sick and tired of New Labour(Tory Light). We don't need New Labour, we need True Labour.

+Imran Nazir You're right. We need the likes of Corbyn and Abbott to be leading Labour to ensure it's final downfall. Labour is finished.

I think you are being dramatic. We couldn't tell the difference between that two parties before that's what people into such a muddle. If we had a PR system then its not such an issue because everyone gets heard.

+Imran Nazir He's too far left. We had some of that in the 70s and those that still remember the mess don't want it again. It may not be the end of labour - but they won't get elected into power with Corbyn as PM, that's for sure.

Labour needs to come to terms that Jeremy Corbyn is more the kind of labour party that voters want.

Listen up people. Jeremy Corbyn is great, but we cannot allow one man and his party stand up for what is right or wrong alone. We have to unify and unite as a country in order to be truly democratic. We all need to stand up for what is right!

"Wolfie Corbyn". That seems about as revealing of C4 as it gets.

Corbyn eventually lost, no doubt about it. That doesn't mean that there wasn't a while there in the middle, about spring 2017 to summer 2019, where it could have gone either way.
