Can you walk off the resort / is there anything nearby to walk to? Is there a part of the resort you’d most recommend roomwise? Ground floor versus upper level, close to beach versus close to pool?

The resort has everything, it would be nice the ground floor. We didn't walk outside the resort except during the excursion time.

To the people that went to this resort, Im thinking of going in another month. Wondering, do they have a market close by? Many resort's have a market, to buy souvenirs, alcohol, cigarettes, etc.

This resort doesn't have a market near by. But they have a souvenirs shop in the lobby with some snacks and drink's.

Wow that nice hotel is only 5 yrs old. I wish you had told us what was wrong in the first 2 rooms, so folks know what to look out for !

The day we we're there the first room the door won't close after we came back touring the resort.
They move us right away same building but I have to pack everything.
The second room the phone didn't work incase if there's any immergency we can't call the front desk. Beside that the safe won't open after we put our passports and other valuables.
So they move us to another room next day and different building. This time I'm tired already and pack again.☹️ It was an interesting and frustrating. But we managed to enjoy the rest of our vacation.
Would I came back again 🤔 I don't know.

Solo un detalle, las matas de coco no son el árbol nacional de Cuba jajajaja. Eso me causó gracia pues confundió las matas de coco con la palma real, que es el símbolo nacional.
