Beautiful! I especially liked the doodling with paint and pen at the end. It seemed to bring it all together and made it yours and gave it a light feeling.
Thank you for asking! This may not be true for everyone, but for me, Art journaling/junk journals are a great way for me to experiment and “play” with art/supplies without having to worry about whether or not it is perfect or someone will buy it. It is also an excellent strategy for relaxing and relieving stress, which is one of the main reasons I started doing it. I also enjoy going back and looking through the things I’ve created. I hope this answers your question. If there is anything else you would like to know just ask, I’ll do my best to answer :) thanks for watching!
Thank you for replying sincerely. I too have lots of keep sakes. I think i can make use of them and create junk journals. But i don't have the stencil cuts, blocks, dyes. Anyway i will create my own journal 🤪
@ I think that’s a great idea! Keepsakes are great for adding to pages in junk journals. I love to use cards or letters/notes that I want to keep from friends and family in my journals. You don’t really need a lot of fancy supplies to start out with. Whatever you have will work. And you can always go back and add things as you go if you get more supplies later. That’s part of the fun! :)
Thank you for asking! For this page I used Lush Foliage green paint by Craft Smart to cover the background and Blush Pink by Deco Art for the sponge textures. I added an assortment of floral and nature inspired pieces of paper and stickers that I’ve collected over the years from various art stores, as well as pink and musical notes Washi tape. The black details are done with a black pen and the white details are done with Ivory White by Folk Art. I hope this helps! Let me know if you need anything else or if I missed something. Thanks for watching :)
@@thecreativearrow thank you for responding so quickly!! 💜💜probably the hardest thing for me is to figure out how to order the really lovely stickers. I see people use here on TH-cam. (You also shared that you used stickers in this video) I see them using the tweezers and pulling them off, but I simply do not know what those are and where to buy them . if I knew what to call them I would love to have them for my journaling. That would be a HUGE help 💜 Thank you!!
@@irishrosa6115 I have purchased and used all kinds of stickers. There are Washi stickers, paper stickers, gold foil stickers, scrapbook stickers and even vinyl stickers. I would say start with a design and price point that works for you but you really can’t go wrong 😊
