As a lifelong Broncos fan I could care less about Saleh getting fired but I do find it crazy 😧 that we live in a world 🌎 where a DEFENSIVE head coach who's DEFENSE is top 10 gets fired because the OFFENSE sucks ass and the QB is a narcissist who can't truly take any of the blame.

@@Jordan-Ramses One-dimensional-thinking fans crack met up. Look, I'm no fan of Aaron Rodgers. I think he's washed up and he's an arrogant jerk. But he's had three coaches in TWENTY YEARS. The first lasted 13 seasons before he was fired, and based on how he's doing in Dallas it's clear he's not that great a coach. The second still has the same job he had when Rodgers asked to leave Green Bay. He wasn't fired, and when he eventually is it will have nothing to do with Rodgers. The third just got fired after going 20-36 in 56 games and never winning more than seven in a single season. If you don't count his three plays last year Rodgers was the Jets' QB for all of five of those 56 games. Just because you're a good defensive coordinator -- and how hard is it when you had the 49ers' personnel? -- doesn't mean you're qualified, able or ready to be a head coach in the NFL. Robert Saleh got himself fired for not producing.

What's going on with the Jets is the same exact thing that happened in Denver with Hackett and Russell Wilson. The inmates are running the prison.
Same exact scenario would've played out in Denver had George Paton been able to land Aaron Rodgers. It would've been a disaster with Aaron, just like we're seeing now with the Jets, just like it was with option #2 Russ. Let this be a lesson to owners and GM's.
Everyone wants to be the next Buccaneers and Rams, but it doesn't work if you let the QB run the organization.

Agree with Stink about early season play by teams. Mike Shanahan back in the day said first four games you want to be at least 2-2 and hopefully 3-1. Week five was when you started seeing what teams really were. Now a days, you have to add an additional game or two thanks to the shorter preseason.

Rodgers is almost two full yards per attempt below his career average at 6.0. That's 29th in the league among qualified passers. That's not a Saleh problem. There's literally three guys in front him: Rodgers, Hackett, and Douglas, 1-3.

The Jets have gone from vain with handing Rodgers the keys to the clubhouse (similar to how the Broncos did for Wilson) to hypocritical where they're now "not disciplined enough" when the whole office condones a team captain going to Egypt during mandatory training camp. The Jets are gluttons for punishment and the only ones who are going to be thrilled for 2024 in NY is the media. This is going to be a barn burner. If Zach Wilson turns out a success it will be the biggest coup the Broncos could pull off against the Jets on a coaching front. Beyond just one or two games it not only shows who's got their act together, while in tandem the Jets also copied the Broncos mistakes after watching it happen with Russ! That's a twofer! (before even bringing up Hackett) SMH...I feel for Jets fans.

It wasn't just being down 10 points it was the fact that they came back three times before the bungles bungled & then won the game... so I was really impressed that they beat a Team that was playing as well as they could... that is definitive proof that your Team is just better when you do that three times in a row & then take the win when the dust settles... def a Team with championship character right there! I really hate the ravens!

As a Broncos fan, I remember when we went 6-0, with Kyle Orton as our quarterback after the Jay Cutler trade….
Kyle Orton was a lot like Sam Darnold at the time….
Anyways, we proceeded to go 2-8 and miss the playoffs…
So the point is, just because your 5-0 doesn’t mean your a lock for the playoffs lol

Everyone is just assuming rob is responsible for the defense because of the position he left. But what if jeff was doing such a good job that rob barely bothered to have input.... that would mean that we have been giving credit to a guy who litterly did nothing, and the guy actually responsible for any of the jets success is in charge now..... that..... thats why you make that move..... this isn't really rocket science. If it doesn't make sense that the "less smart guy" got the job over the "smarter guy".... he probably is not really the smarter guy.

EDIT- BEFORE16:20 BTW! YES Saleh will return to SF sooner rather than later- it's one thing to be growing on one side of the ball but when you have a slew of In j & bad play on OFF you simply have zero time to mess around on a DEF with that much talent that is playing garbage football way below their talent level & PAY GRADE... owners do exercise oversight yo- it's their money that is being spent!

Rodgers is living in the past and on his past glories.
He was over the hill at green bay and the jets somehow believed he was going to turn back the clock.
He got all his mates there, again living in the past, now looking to get Adams to go there, what a train wreck.
Rodgers is delusional for thinking he can still play at elite level and so are the jets for believing him.
I am sure Rodgers thought well if Brady can do it, so can I, but Brady is streets ahead of this dark retreat guy, streets ahead.
They sacked the wrong guy but really what would you expect from their track record.
