    Hitting the hopper wings every dump cycle can’t be a recipe for success. It would be neat to see a rear loader take on this route. I heard the recycle guy in Chinatown is a real piece of work

      Yeah a rear loader would be interesting to see, thanks for watching!

    That was entertaining to watch! I feel bad for the driver who really couldn't dump them fast plus him not having a helper for the heavy bins

    Yeah the forks definitely aren’t adjusted quite right, but assuming they were, you still aren’t able to tip the dumpster in all the way since the trunion bar sticks out farther than the sides of the hopper does. It’s not a perfect design but it still works, sort of lol regardless it was neat to see one of these working on a less-common front load commodity. Hope to see more front load action in the future!

      Funny, I was thinking the same thing about that trunion bar even if the forks were set correctly. Thanks for watching and commenting!

    Yeesh this company really needs to do some more fine tuning on those hydraulics, and install some on the forks. This poor thing keeps getting those rear load pivots stuck on the hopper wings, due to the driver not aligning it correctly. Hope it can survive, cause it really needs a day to get repairs.

    Why mix in regular trash with the greens and food scraps? So much for giving out different dumpsters and for even creating RecycLA in the first place. I bet some of the content in these bins smelled wonderful too especially on such a sunny day. This truck needs some serious maintenance and lubrication if they plan on keeping it around any longer though. Those arms sound awful when they are going up. Looks like the fact that forks could not hold their position combined with the tight space these hybrid dumpsters have between them and the hopper wings was a recipe for disaster. Considering how bad the rear load pivot pin got stuck behind the lift arms, I am surprised he did not bust a hydraulic line that drives the fork shaft.

      To my understanding the black dumpster had food waste in it but who knows lol. Thanks for watching!

    Why would you send a front loader on a rear loader route?

    • @TrashBulldogProductions
      @TrashBulldogProductions 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @Richard Trevethan No these dumpsters are rear load compatible too. Notice the extending pivot pins on the front of them.

      @Richard Trevethan did you notice how it hangs up when he tries to dump them especially with the pegs on the side of the dumpster

      @@abelpadilla7789 Unit 126 from UWS? That must have been an original Century McNeilus or a Gen I Amrep Octo Front Loader, also known as the classic UWS fleet. Both of those were some of my favorite trucks on the road back then.
