Things have changed. A lot. In a few decades. Its called pole dancing. Because the pole has revolutionised the launch. At Sodwana and elsewhere, anglers are keeping their pants on as shorebreaks are mowed down with diesel power.

SInce the Mozambican government is still firmly in a lockdown that is more of a clampdown as NO recreational activities are allowed...The Sardine News has decided to move all marlin fishing and charter operations to Sodwana Bay, from now on. Indefinitely.
There is not ONE cop with an AK47 in sight. In fact, I never saw any police at all. Just the way I like it.
We have made arrangements with some lovely fishing camps just on the outskirts of Sodwana City. With HUGE boats in HUGE boathouse - just waiting for anglers. Right now!
So if you need you marlin fishing hit, don't hesitate to get in touch - we have a new master plan for our billfishing customers.
Its name is Sodwana Bay. And the season starts shortly. See you in September.
