Once you speak one Romance language, the others aren’t hard. I speak Spanish and can understand French, Portuguese, Catalan and even Romanian.
thats not really impressive ! we Germans grow up with at least two foreign languages in school besides you can't really make spanish and catalan two languages

Ho Lee Fuk you can always sense the Spanish and German vibes but he usually switches from American English to UK English, and viceversa.

His accent is...I'm not real sure, it sounded almost like a mix of 2 or more. He has a very nice voice.

Ha, the funny thing is for about a decade or what he had been pretty popular in Germany (and also Spain by the way since he's half Spanish) and done a number of real good movies! He might be the one catching all the rare good parts in German filmmaking these days^^ Said story... Well however, the more he gained international attention with his acting brilliance, the less he got discussed in Germany. Sure you here about him when you really follow and focus on him as a fan here, but not that he gets any kind of these silly "best international actor Bambi or any kind of recognition from his fellow countrymen... Instead of celebrating him I've got the impression he's the one everybody in the branche has to ignore now, since he's got what all the other (mostly) B-Promis can not even dream of- and he's still modest and sympathic. The dimension of greed and despair...
Anyway, go for it Daniel! You're fantastic, I love you, Kid!!

Daniel bruhl deserves much more than rush or other movies. when we saw some scenes of the movie rush everyone noticed his changed accent and movement to look just like niki lauda . he is very underestimated ..

+Petaxis Yes, half German, half Spanish, was born in Spain, his mom is Spanish. Whatever he is, he is really good with accents and languages.
Yop, but he lived in Germany for a long time, also he started to act there (watch Goodbye Lenin or The Educators - European movies can be good :)) And I guess it is easier for you to learn new languages when you have 2 or more mother languages :) And yop, I agree with you, Spanish people aren't usually good at learning languages, I was there and I can really confirm that :)

His Spanish/Catalan and German are on par. I think his French is a little better than English.
