Im going to start off this video by saying that the Harman Kardon Fly ANC have great build quality and they sound great as well… but unfortunately these headphones have a lot of squandered potential and ultimately these are just a re-skinned version of the JBL Live650BTNC’s which came out a few months ago. But now im just starting to wonder what on earth is Harman thinking cause these headphones and the JBL Club 950NC’s which I reviewed a few weeks ago are going to have a real hard time competing in today’s super competitive headphones market. And for those who may not know… JBL is a sub brand of Harman and Harman is owned by Samsung.

Nice review. I see you have reviewed a lot of Sennheiser headphones too. I am a Sennheiser fan from early on. Would you recommend me these Harman Fly ANC's instead of any similarly priced Sennheiser bluetooth heaphones currently on the market (HD450BT, HD450BTNC, PXC550II, etc)?
They do look nice, solid build quality and with Harmon Kardon, you can't go wrong
Harman/Kardon headphones are back a good replacement for the classic Harman/Kardon headphones that come out 10 yrs ago. but we need a fully loaded version with better noise cancelling with USB C and big head approve. which will Cost about 400 Dollars lol.

Just recently one of the ''harman'' cult audio gear store guy try to sell these to me, luckily I compared them with my WI 1000X, and aptly concluded that HK pulled a fast one on us.
Could you or anybody tell me how to turn it off? Toggling the power switch would turn it off momentarily but it comes back on in seconds and continues to drain the battery. Thanks!
You know what I think is a major issue nowadays, when everything is “smart” and has a microprocessor inside? The issue is that people miss the point of a product. In my opinion, headphones reviews should begging with sound quality.
And please, never compare HK to Bose. It’s the other way around always 😝✌️

Anyone else run into trouble with this pair? Mine has the blue light turned on all the time even when I turn it off and my devices can't detect it via bluetooth. Works with the 3.5mm line though. Tried resetting by pressing the two volume buttons, no effect

I bought this headset for nearly 1 year, rarely used it but carefully preserved it, but it has torn and peeled off the entire cushion, not charging much but now the normal charging pin does not accept it, I have to temporarily put the book on it to receive it, buy it the sale was for $ 110, thought the brand was good, the sound quality and noise cancellation were okay but overall it was a real waste of money
Jumped in blind because of the 60 ebay pricetag, wanted to see how they would stand up to my 450BTs since the HKs MSRP'd for almost 2x more... after watching this it's already a wash, the HKs will make a great gift to someone who doesn't know better. Micro USB? For real???

Just got this today for $60 on sale. I have noticed off the bat that after google assistants is being used, music does not resume. Is this a settings or what?
Also when I pause the music, I cannot unpause it without using the phone (Android).

Actually these headphones are on sale in Scandinavia for 140 US$. You get 70-80% of Bose/Sony noise cancelling but they do sound fantastic! I use EQ setting Vocal and the sound of music, games and movies blows out of water my AKG K550 reference headphones. Mic is also great and people hear me great in phonecalls even when home theater is on. In fact I bought another pair as a backup if something happens with the first. Very happy! 🙂👍

I hope the PU synthetic leather cover on the headphones joints will not peel off, like the JBL Quincy Jones. I am a loyal customer of JBL and Harman Kardon, until this peeling off problem occur, which happen after 1 year and 2 months.
Got these for 99cad at Best buy. I have a huge head and I find them really comfortable. Only complaint is that they're micro USB which feels flimsy

Does ANC work with cable connection? Specs do not mention anything about battery life when BT is off and ANC is on.
Nope, all the digital stuff, including the buttons, turn off when the cable is connected.

Many of the Harman audio headphones are at more than 50% or 60% off, I bought the AKG n700 m2 and the truth is that those headphones sound fantastic, and the Harman Kardon fly I have seen for $99 on their official website

Don't care for the ambient mode - I can just take the headphones OFF for a minute to talk to people. Ever considered that? I know, to today's nincom poop generation it must be annoying as hell ;). Anyway, the price is now nowhere near $250, it's below $100.
