You do such a very neat job on your projects. This was beautifully done. I think the way you staggered your layers is super smart because it also insured you wouldn’t be trying to staple over staples. I use a much larger pressing board for quilting. If you find your fabric isn’t holding up as long as you’d hope, you might find home decor fabric a good option. I have. I so enjoy your channel. Thank you for your calm, peaceful and inspiring videos.
I was browsing the internet tonight pricing portable ironing boards for an upcoming project. I was not finding anything I liked. I told hubs what I was looking for and he said to check You Tube for a DIY. Of course! I found your video and it is precisely what I needed. I will be off to Joann in a couple of days to get the supplies I need. Thank you for the idea!
I’m really happy about how you explain things that you do with your cricket stuff my husband finally help me make my iron board last night for my table
I saw this in your sewing drawer in one of your craft room videos and was sooo happy to find that you'd made a video tutorial for it! Yay! I've been wanting one of these forever. I was intimidated to make one, but you make it look so easy, and I especially liked your tips to make it go more smoothly. I love that using your instructions, we could make it any size or shape we want. Can't wait to make one for myself!
I have all my materials and am currently following your instructions and making my very own desktop ironing board. This is so great! Thank you for sharing.
I have a large table on wheels I made with ikea storage and I created a large ironing board topper for it in a similar way to this. I love it. I use it anytime we need to iron clothes or when I’m sewing, quilting etc.
I love this...I just asked you on a recent video about this board. Then I found this video. Tyfs....love this. Got to go get the heat fabric and cotton batting. 😊
Hey, I love your channel so much! Thank you for all of your tutorials!! I am starting in the craft world and I am loving it so far!! I was wondering, if you don’t mind me asking, where did you get your silicon gun?
Love your video! I was watching some others where the bottom wasn't finished and I kept picturing scratches on my table and snagged fabric when using it inside tshirts for htv. Is the heat layer necessary? Does this help ensure even heating? Just curious bc I need to make one asap, I'm on a deadline, and don't have any of the heat fabric on hand. Thanks!
Really enjoyed watching this and so jealous of your craft room. Will you be doing the Christmas countdown ideas again this year? ( I know it’s harder with your new little one!) but love your previous creative ideas and it’s my first Christmas with my cricut joy!
Is the point for this to be more sturdy than a Cricut easy press mat? I’ve been thinking about pressing options for smaller sewing projects and was planning to use my easy press mat but it’s a bit flimsy and this wouldn’t be because of the board. Thanks!
HI there, was wonder if Insul Bright is also Batting why regular Cotton Batting is needed for this project. Thanks for letting me know. 🎀 Cotton Batting 🎀 Insul Bright
Cute and very useful project!! Can you direct me to your video where you showed decorating your white desktop trash container that is sitting next to your appliqué machine? I thought I remember you showing that previously but am unable to find it. Thanks so much.

Great job! I have made one of these but I used the silver ironing board fabric that’s nonstick.
Omg this is great, I just asked my hubby if we had a staple gun and he said yes! This I am definitely going to do

I love your work. Your instructions are so clearly understood. Thank you so much
It was fun watching how you made this! It really is great!
I love your table top ironing board…I’m going to make one too. Such a great idea ☺️
I love this...I just asked you on a recent video about this board. Then I found this video. Tyfs....love this. Got to go get the heat fabric and cotton batting. 😊
Love how fast this came together and the finished look was even better than anticipated. As always - thanks for sharing and Be Blessed..!!
Thanks! I just love the final look!
Curious if I could do two layers of batting vs a layer of insulbrite? Mostly pressing block seams.
What a great idea - I love it and will definitely try this! Thanks for sharing and again, what a great video! Warmest wishes from London, UK!
I made one of these pressing boards for sewing and quilting. A few times a year I would change out the fabric on top.
A great video. Thank you.
Great idea.. Thank you for sharing! ❤
Beautifully done and a really great idea! I will try this. Thanks so much For sharing this!
That’s a good idea for college kids living in dorms also Bethany.
Hey, I love your channel so much! Thank you for all of your tutorials!! I am starting in the craft world and I am loving it so far!! I was wondering, if you don’t mind me asking, where did you get your silicon gun?
Turned out so nice
Great idea!
Great idea. Thank you.
Love this! Thanks for sharing. What is the floral mat that you work on in all your videos? It’s so cute too!
Love this idea and I am definitely going to make one! Thank you for sharing great job!

Excellent video! How thick is your plywood?
Great idea and so fun to watch, as always. Someone mentioned the Christmas Countdown, I would love it if you would do that again!
I’ll be crafting for Christmas, but understandably not on the same level during this season of motherhood.
Well done! I love it.😊
Really enjoyed watching this and so jealous of your craft room. Will you be doing the Christmas countdown ideas again this year? ( I know it’s harder with your new little one!) but love your previous creative ideas and it’s my first Christmas with my cricut joy!
Yes, but not on the same level as last year. This season of motherhood is understandably busier this year. :)
@@Bethadilly then I’m already excited! Just loved your little reindeer food jars ! First Christmas with you little man ! How exciting! 😍
Hi ! I loved so much this fabric! Do you have the name of this cute printed fabric?
❤❤❤ great idea❤❤❤
I was going to ask where you got the desktop ironing board so perfect timing!! Great idea and I love all of the extra thought you put into it. 😃
Would a chunky wooden chopping board work as the base?
Very nice good job 👍🏼
Love this ironing board idea! what kind of glue gun are you using?

Very nice idea❤️
New to your channel and loving it!
Welcome, Tammy! So happy to have you here!
HELLO, IM NEW IN YOUR CHANNEL AND I LOVE IT, HOW DIS YOU DO YOUR FLORAL MAT?
Can you please do Mackcle haul I’m waiting for your Crichton diy thank you so much 😊
HI there, was wonder if Insul Bright is also Batting why regular Cotton Batting is needed for this project. Thanks for letting me know.
🎀 Cotton Batting
🎀 Insul Bright
Additional padding, you will need both. Insulbright is incredibly thin.
@@Bethadilly thank you so much for the quick response which doesn't happen often on TH-cam!
Did your board warp because of the heat? I made one awhile back and there is no where for any heat or steam to escape? Just curious🤷🏼♀️
Mine did not, did you use heat resistant layers?
I did use the heat resistant layers but after making close to 2000 to 2500 masks during the pandemic it finally started warping.
Cute and very useful project!! Can you direct me to your video where you showed decorating your white desktop trash container that is sitting next to your appliqué machine? I thought I remember you showing that previously but am unable to find it. Thanks so much.
I don’t have a video on my trash can, but maybe soon. :)
@@Bethadilly Thanks . I will be watching for it. I enjoy each of your videos and learn so much.
Such a good idea and it turned out so cute! Where did you get the stapler?
My husband’s workshop. 😂
@@Bethadilly That’s so funny!🤣🤣
I miss how you said you made your mat your floral did you use on your table
Very nice. You could sell them “Bethadily’s Boards”. Lol
Oh I meant to ask... where did you get that glue gun. I did not see it in your craft room supplies list.
How thick is the plywood that you used?
I’m unsure, maybe 3/4 inch?
@@Bethadilly thanks!
Do you know how to clean your cricket joy card mat my stickiness is gone
I personally just replaced my mats when they are done, but there are many tutorials on TH-cam for cleaning mats.
