It's a funny trashy movie, but considering the time it was made and the budget, it's quite awesome.
Turrican is clearly an inspiration, but the story has not much to do with the games, despite the villain looking like "The Machine" from TurricanIII (Wearing his pink tin foil suit), and Turicon actually beeing a battle suit, just like in the games (More like a white thing and a motorbike helmet, which can be transformed into a harddrive cough I mean into a useful portable form ).
The DVD says "this is an Amateurmovie", so watch it with the right attitude, and it's fun. :)
Sad thing, they seemingly don't sell the DVD anymore.
The bad video quality is not my fault, as this is the only version of the trailer, that was online available.

I still have the old .RAM files for this movie and trailer that were some years back. I even emailed the creator Marco von Moos to see if he could make a DVD copy of the one that was on sale on No Control Cinema's website and he said he no longer had the DVD.
Oh the memories! Epic part of internet history. The days before TH-camz... The days of the CSB Digital Cinema :P Those who know, will know ;)

@NazRockProductions There's not THAT much fail. All the fail I see is the accents of the actors, the inside of the "aerials" being just cars, Sollthar's costume made of papier-maché and some grammar mistakes in the space scene where the computer talks. For the rest, I prefer primitive CGI (like there is in this movie ) to professionally done physical models, because the first blends into the scene much better than the latter.

@NazRockProductions : What, fail? The only thing I can see is epic win! Like, when fail reaches a certain proportion, it turns to win... ;)
