Its a shame sauropseidon didnt win because we dont have a vanilla brachiasaurid in the game but im still happy to see us getting another sauropod and a huge one at that

I'm very excited that my concept won Extinction, but I will say I am sad we can't get more creatures from this vote since we had a fantastic roster this time around. But game development is what it is. I hope you all enjoy this beast and I hope Wildcard gives the concept justice.

I tend to refrain from answering vote related questions ;)
IMO, Ideally we'd have a new creature every 2-3 months, I think any more often and there isn't enough room to breathe and as a playerbase we'd probably get a bit saturated. It's not feasible though, the dev's need time to work on other things, and maps realistically only have space for so mnay. Perhaps they'll revisit some suggestions in future though :)
TBH, I had it at as my number Ten… I didn’t see it very well suited for the map’s terrain at all. I love the creature, its abilities and design, but I didn’t feel it was best for Extinction. I thought it would have been perfect for more of a flat terrain like Crystal Isles or even Fjordur as it’s terrain is more suitable for larger sauropods and creatures. But I love the design and I hope it does amazing on Extinction!!

@@udamthewaster9454 It originally came with the listro but that wasn’t a exclusive creature to the map. It definitely should have gotten three, but that would have took a longer time to add them to the game. What they should’ve done was just taken the top three and added them to it.
Sauroposeidon propably placed so low despite its popularity because a lot of people placed it just bellow dread on their list.
That's a very good point, we're only seeing those who put it higher. It's still lower than I'd expect even then, but the difference is more understandable as anyone voting on looks rather than abilities will have seen two sauropods and chosen the most visually striking.

Well put :) I should've said Largest animal we KNOW of, although of course we'll never truly know, there's all sorts of things that don't show up in fossils even if we have the majority of a skeleton.

I really think all tames should require far more maintence, its a very good rout wildcard should have gone down long ago to prevent tribes from keeping hundreds of dino.

It's not as bad as the aberration or Center votes but I was hoping for something else better than most of the things we could have gotten I really hope the crystal Isles the jumping spider wins for that cuz that would be cool looking
I wished the sauroposeidon won, but this is still fine. I just hope they don't make it just a different looking titanosaur that doesn't do much
I just hope the dreadnoughtous has a mega stomp attack or something that can defeat a rex or one shot it with a major cool-down. It must have a stomp, tail whip or even neck swing. We need a sauropod that can defeat a big carnivore in the wild.
Out of the two saurapods I wanted sauraposeidon to win, just because it has a funner name to say.
I hope they keep the Roar attack 🤩
the ammount of drawbacks is a bit silly giga only has the "enrage" drawback you would have an easier time tamming a titan for griefing pvp wise
i do hope ark devs do some proper balancing on this.
Dont get me wrong i do like the concept and the dino but concept wise regarding those details it kinda killed it for me
I appreciate the creator thinking of balance though, if it was to have all the ideas it would certainly be a strong creature, and I'd rather have some suggested balance than a creature that was overpowered as heck. I'll be surprised if the maintenance makes it in, but the final concept is of course up to Wildcard. Perhaps they'll take it in a completely different direction and make it closer to a Bronto in scale even.

Wooooo, the first herbivore winner, wooooo, and gg to all other contestants this was a fairly good vote
So *technically* the Gigantoraptor is actually a herbivore, or 'opportunistic omnivore' really.. but the Wildcard implementation will be an Omni, so yes! This is our first full herbivore! Of course, that's a bit wordy for a title :D
Doesn't overly matter to me which they are, herbivores are easier to heal but carnivores are easier to tame, but if it keeps the people calm and content then it's a plus :)
its gonna be a good addition to the game. i def see some good options with it, depending on how they implement it. :D

Im excited for ASA, but I'm trying to calm my hype. I haven't played ARK in years so even if the changes to ASA aren't that much to the community, hopefully they will be a big change for me.
Listen i dont care about what about what others think of this idea but its just in my personal opinion they should gee idk maybe the thylacosmlius or sauroposeidon especially the gorgonops? They literaly have the wound ability also the same attacks as the rest of the other dinos we could just made then into pack or they could been a good fight for the folsasuchus? And they can be useful against the bosses in the game? They could even been useful for guarding bases or other creatures hey aleast they make a redeem votes for now instead for now but this is just my opinion.......

Not what i choose first..but more dinos = more taming = more fun and survival
I think I've only had one of my top-choices so far, but the standard of submission has been high so I've no complaints over the eventual winners :) As you say, more creatures is the important bit here!

It's so funny to me people are surprised edmontonia did so bad when the only reason it was in the top 10 was because the person who made it is popular and pinged the whole server to show it (even if he didnt ask for votes, an @everyone is literally the same as doing so) it was such a boring submission lmao
I'm not sure how I feel on the submission as a whole, but Extinction was a very odd choice for it. Expected it to do a little better due to influence factor, but still in the lower half.

Are you great at picking winners only, or does your power extend to the rest of the rankings too? ;) We tried having a little prediction over at the discord and I think the most anyone got right for these results was 4.
@@freynlives I missed rag, I didn’t predict gigantoraptor winning. I don’t really try predicting the entire order of what will be eliminated in the bottom half but I’m able to narrow it down to 3 that are most likely to win. Most of the times the other 2 I predict most likely to win are atleast in the top 5 or even top 3. I had hatze and Darwin as other 2 most likely to win, and hatze got 3rd Darwin got 5th. Didn’t expect the Maevia to get 2nd again
My expectation for top 5 was Dread, Sauro, Hatz, Maevia & Darwin. So there was a bit of surprise for me there too hehe!

This will be way too over powered if it is breedable
To whoever voted for the spider, THIS DOESN'T MATCH TO THE EXTINCTION MAP SO LEAVE IT FOR THE NEXT ABERRATION CREATURES VOTE. People need to understand that even tho a creature might look cool, it doesn't mean that the creature match the map vibe.
