Goodness gracious, WHAT A DISCOVERY! I have never heard of this vocalist until now. Of all of the male country singers who got their careers cooking in the early 1990's as he did, and actually going back to the mid 70's right up to the present, Benny Berry impresses me the most for the beauty and richness of his voice, along with one other, Ricky Van Shelton. How Benny Berry didn't also become a superstar is beyond my comprehension. I cannot find out beans about him really, only that he is 6 feet four inches tall, did a lot of recording in Ireland early in his career, and became a Christian and recorded lots of Gospel music. Hopefully someone can fill us in as to his age, etc. Milton Moore

He grew up in a small town in Alabama called Stevenson where he lives today and only sings gospel nowadays. He is in his 60's now
