Such a pleasure and a treat to hear Danny again. I worked with him when deppin' for Kenny Clare with the Pizza Express All-stars in Dean Street back in the 80s. Such a soul ful sound.
The brilliant Danny Moss. RIP Danny. I saw you many times in the '70's and 80's. Barry Watson ( Harmonica) ps/ Danny Moss jnr was often at the gigs. ( Golfer Danny!) Love to Jeanie please.
I wish I'd met and worked with Danny Moss but our paths never crossed What a wonderful musician - and the pianist and his son too!!! Thanks for sharing this video, Ian. My heart felt as though a hand had suddenly closed around it quite hard when I became aware that he really was no more - and too late for new meetings! Belated kudos to the inspiring pianist and Danny's so talented son.
Danny has a lovely tone. His notes sound as though they're fitted with springs. Fine recording from a beautiful laid-back, and very swinging quartet. Thank you
I have one of is CD given to me by Danny in Person in Zurich. I so more the one of is konzert at 61, was always full and listenig to his Sax Live, made me feel very spcial. Sad that no more of is sound is to be found on TH-cam. This keind Person need to be more well known

Nice description of his playing.
He swung and he could really weave a melodic line.
