Nice. I just put one in my Tahoe. Only thing I’d recommend that wasn’t done in the video is you can route the cable inside the hinge of the bottom console trim piece. There is also a factory notch on mine that lets it run that way. Can’t see any cables at all.
@@boostautoparts You need to post in all of the General Motors truck forums - I know this will be a huge success! There are many forums that need to have this word spread around about your new product.
Installed in a 2017 Suburban. Working good so far. The trim inside the console was a pain to get off. The video doesn’t cover disconnecting the other connection to the old unit that was in mine but that seemed fairly obvious
question, old one not compatible with new phones?? or original ones break easy?? or like my phone doesn't fit flush in charger because charger too small?? my is not working don't know why other then thinking it's my phone
Does this make the soace a little bigger with a smaller bezel? My yukon xl denali charging pad won't fit my s22 ultra. I had one of these on my 13 sierra and it worked great. I am trying to find s way to make my yukon work.
I have the new iphone 14 Pro Max which has a bigger screen. Will this product fit? Or Do you guys make one with a thinner frame to fit the larger phones?
We haven't exclusively reviewed fitment in the police bench seat. Please email the VIN and a picture of the console to support@boostautoparts.com so our team can try to look into this for you.
Will the center console arm rest from a 2015 gmc sierra crew cab fit on the console for a 2016 tahoe. I just noticed that the slot for my phone is just slightly thinner in the tahoe than my sierra.
Great job guys I was looking for this charger witch is fit for my car for a long time and I couldn’t find. I have tow questions and I don’t find them under the product at your website. 1. There is a square plug in the harness and in how to install tutorial video you didn’t use it and you didn’t mentioned what is it for? 2. If i use the wireless charger to charge my phone and in the same time the rear V12 outlet used to charge any other device, is there any conflicts? Or any kind of charging power effects? Thank you and best regards
I'm not too sure what plug you're referencing. If you email a screenshot to sales@boostautoparts.com our team can take a look. There should be no problem using the rear 12V outlet in conjunction with our charger.
@@boostautoparts Thank you for your answers. I sent an email with screenshots and I got immediate answer, they told me that the plug you mentioned in your email it’s the wireless charger fuse. Happy of your care about customers and how you make everything so easy for them. By the way I ordered your product for my car. Thank you and best regards.
I seen a comment on y’all sight sayin it would looks like y’all’s pad is a lil thicker than the stock rubber pad so I’m thinking it’s raised anof to charge but sense it’s a 3 coil it’s a stronger charger so it should charge even if the phone don’t fit flush
You failed to say why you are doing this procedure. Is the original charger broken? The main problem with these chargers is the size of the charging pad. They don't fit the phone with a protective cover on it. Have they solved that problem yet? I never use mine because of that issue. Not going to take off my phone cover.
The original charger doesn't work well with iPhones, and since it's so inset most phones don't fit. This improves both of those situations. For more info please email sales@boostautoparts.com
This is also good for those of us who don't have wireless charging to begin with. All the other kits I found assumed factory wiring, I like that this one includes a harness

Glad to hear the install went well!

What size phone fits in this charging area. I have an iPhone 11 Pro Max and it doesn’t fit in the basic spot. Will it still charge?
The phone must fit in the center console area in order to charge.
Same situation.. would it fit yes or no?
As long as the connection works and the centerpiece fits, this should work in the police bench seat console as well, correct?

QUESTION: What would I do with the charging module in the lid under my exiting mat? Would I just remove it and leave the plug in the lid cover?
Yes

Sorry, that is not something we are aware of the answer on.
do you have to hit the button to turn it on everytime you turn truck off and on again? or does it just come on when truck is started?
It will come on anytime the vehicle is on unless you manually turn it off.
Will this work on a 2018 Cadillac Escalade ESV?
No it won't - sorry.
