Personally, the texture update and the Aquatic update were my favorites. If I'm honest though, now that ive gotten used to the new nether, THE OLD NETHER SUCKED!

I think one of the best improvements is the addition of planks that are based on their wood type, oak wood planks just got boring

@@kayla4717 you can do that in bedrock ps4, xbox one, Nintendo switch, 3DS, Wii U, Past PlayStation and Xbox consoles and windows 10, it wont work in pocket edition

9:57 I would have to respectfully disagree with you. I started out playing Bedrock on my phone (where you must double tap to sprint) and when I transitioned over to playing Java on my pc, the feeling of double tapping just felt more natural to me. I've been playing Minecraft since 1.14 came out in 2019, so I haven't been playing for very long but I've just gotten used to doubling tapping w, even though pressing left control is easier.

Another thing: When enchanting an item at level 30 at an enchantment table, it doesn't use all 30 levels like it used to.

In my survival world after being an og after that was removed after I got 30 levels enchant an item and come back to the xp and didn't notice I just had 27 levels and stand for an hour to remember that that was removed

Yea the old one was kinda better in a way, much more simple. I think the leveling up, iron farms, and cheapening trades is quite nice but the weird workstation thing is too op (you don’t have to grind for a mending villager, you just have to keep replacing it’s workstation), and the new villages are more ugly imo.

You forgot one of the most important. Recipes, you use to have to research how to craft something but they added in a way automatically find what your looking for.

For 3. For a long time the only way to stack them next to each other was to use trapped chests and normal chests.

I remember I started playing Minecraft in 2014 0r 15, anyway I knew nothing about Minecraft, not even how it looked.Anyway I would die every 30 sec and I thought the goal of the game was to walk thru the world and survive for however long you can. I probably got as far as 10 to 20 blocks and I remember I swam and it got dark, I saw a glowing red thing in the water and I swan to it and died. Sometimes when I would respawn I would respawn in the air and live with 3 hearts. The nest time I would respawn I would just die, it was so annoying. I remember there was always a feather on the ground and I thought it was a knife. And 2 days later (real life days) I killed I spider in the sand cave with the "knife". Im glad this changed and it actually tells u what the item is.

Why: Because if you look at despawning in a way, it feels like a mob dying. If you give it a name tag, it will never "die"!
1 Thing Which are useful But Removed in Minecraft
Fire aspect 2 or knockback 2 book were used to effect mobs if you punch them. But now you need to enchance your sword with fire aspect to light mobs in fire
I think there was a glitch in the Minecraft pocket edition code, as the aquatic update wasn't released yet when this story happened
So me and my friend decided to make a new survival just to have a bit of fun, and when we loaded the world it was beautiful! We spawned on a deserted island and it had a cute beach, pretty trees, a little pond and a ton of flowers. My friend went in the water and sprinted and I noticed she had a swimming animation. We tried it out a few more times and it felt like the island was magical and was giving us swimming abilities lol
I wish Mojang kept zombie pigmen. Now they’ve replaced them with piglins
Now that they added Zombified Piglin so I guess its still there?
