Bless her heart. She hasn’t been groomed in months. Being so abused by that person videoing this grooming. A good kennel doesn’t let their dogs get in this terrible condition. Only using these precious dogs for breeding.

Oh isn't she lovely. Her tail is stunning. She will be a lot cooler after your fantastic groom. She will be easy to keep clean but most importantly puppies won't nave to fight thru a lot of fur to find their milk bar. All of their dogs have 3 cycles of gestation and after that, they found them a loving home. That is great! 😊

Use a flea comb to clean the dirt below her eyes. I use one on my small Shit Tzu and it works out well. I use a tearless facial shampoo to clean her face. If you use the flea comb and then shampoo the face the dirt will come off easier. There shouldln't be any brown marks remaining under her beautiful eyes. I would have trimmed the tail before the bath. The tail is still much too long. Needs more trimming. However, she looks a whole lot better now that she has been groomed.

You are such a good groomer! My poor Shin Tzu has allergies so bad that her fur is very thin except for her legs! So she goes to the groomer to get her face, legs trimmed and nails cut! Mama looked so cute and loved the puppies!

Thanks a lot! Well, that would not be so nice, because the most of the sound is from fan dryer and from the clippers... and we have the eho in the salon, so it's not nice on the video. But we are trying to put the voice and sounds in the edit🙂 thank you one more time. 🙂👍

Nice nails and paws
As a groomer, you should know to never shave a Pekingese EVEN if pregnant. Shave the belly but keep the coarse hair and undercoat at least an inch long.

Normally I enjoy your videos. You are a great groomer. But this video is a little confusing. Even if pekingese dogs have long hair, this one doesn't look like it has seen your salon recently. I can't imagine it's because you didn't do a good enough job in the last months. A little more context would help understanding the look of the dog.
Also, I'm not comfortable with the idea, that there are still people breeding pekingese and french bulldogs when veterinarians (at least in germany) are advising against breeding dogs with breathing issues. French bulldogs and pekingese dogs are prime examples of these breeds. I understand you are just doing your job, and you did it beautifully.
Thank you for commenting. I understand your concerns but I will try to explain. She is a little bit matted but just because they didn't want to brush her like before pregnancy cause she was vomiting at the beginning of the pregnancy. They didn't want to make her uncomfortable because they have known that she will be shaved. And about breeding... They are part of the breeders who are trying to "fix" breathing problem by crossing a dogs with longer noses\muzzles. That's why we like them. That dogs are in good hand. All of they dogs gives 3 cycles of pregnancy and after that, they found them forever home. I think that this is nice. Is there any sense now? 😁 I am glad to her that you like our videos ❤

Exactly what I thought. I wouldn't buy a puppy off them. Sounds like what we call a puppy farm. She's a lovely little dog , but how many puppies will she be forced to have during her life.

Of course. Trimmer for feet- heiniger saphir with blade 40, and trimmer for nails- artero or show tech. Hope that this is helpful. On our site, you can find a lot of interesting information. 😊❤

Why did the breeder let this precious animal get so long hair
She mentioned her owner was pregnant so she wasn’t able to keep up with the grooming.
Pekes are known for their long fluffy coats, they aren’t normally shaved like this. 👍

Because shaving that kind of hair can cause a skin issues, and there is a possibility of alopecia 😬

Still too much fluff on the tail. Why not just a little fluff ball at the end of the tail, it would be more sanitary.
She was so cute with the hair wished they had kept some of the length! Pekingese are a long haired breed! Just needed to be trimmed n groomed ! Lol my opinion

Sheer cruelty
What a shocking state that Pekingese is in, the people should never buy a dog they can't be bothered brushing or caring for. You never shave a Pekingese, you just brush about 5 - 10 minutes a day. Had 7 I should know. Oh, a poor breeding dog, that would be right, the breeders I would not buy from!
