You have to admire Caleb’s restraint in this moment. Even with Veth pushing for him to get “closure” and to just deal with him NOW instead of later, he insists that now is NOT the time for Trent. Even though he’s horribly distraught, he knows what takes priority: the Tomb Takers. Because what point would there be in dealing with his past if there’s no home to go back to? And then he chooses to give two of his closest confidants a chance to finally have a night to themselves. He loves his found family so much.
That "You." from Sam is one of his best moments imo.
