To me, this is one of the best Stardust Speedway remixes BECAUSE of that TRUMPET. never before had a stardust speedway remix MASTERED the trumpet so well. Until now.
In Sonic CD, i liked a soundtrack versions of each level for one reason the most: the way their leitmotiffs are "evolving" through the time periods, flowing from Past to Present and from Present to Future. And this very cover sounds *exactly* like i would've imagined a middle point between Present and Bad Future for Stardust Speedway. I maybe even try to draw a pixelart of this "in-between" stage. Truly inspirational stuff!
I imagine metal sonic doing the melodic hand gestures while racing sonic to this then jazz hands at the end when he powers up like bro ur done *Speed intensifies* I "I live for this, because I'm the real sonic." Then a "wwwwrrrrpp." from my boi metal, that's when you know the music bouta pop off and you better run lol.
