I know this video is old so my comment probably won't be seen BUT I have a theory about the chemical burning smell by the tree. We know that Emma (the little girl) accidentally (?) set a fire, and Mike wondered if this was a farm property. When manure is burned, the ammonia/gasses that are trapped within can sometimes give off a very harsh, chemical smell. It's a bit of a long shot, but Emma could've accidentally set fire to the barn/manure pile, and because fermented manure can be such good fuel, it got out of hand. That would also explain Mike's suffocating/drowning feeling- the smoke from manure fires is very thick and heavy, almost like syrup, and can really cling to your throat. It could be that she wasn't drowning in water, but in smoke from the fire.

I’m a psychic medium and I’m training myself via ghost investigations online. The man showed himself to me first. He was so angry. He said you didn’t understand and he hates you. He doesn’t like him (Mike). Mike isn’t the one who is going to help. I can explain to you why and what type of person you will need for this investigation if you are really trying to help the spirits and yourself. They are very unhappy. All I kept hearing was “f*ck you” and “ I hate you” and sobbing and absolute rage. Like my body was shaking. This is a very difficult situation and you’re not helping that’s why he is so angry.
You’re friend is extremely empathetic. If he doesn’t understand it then it will continue to be uncomfortable. It’s like an overwhelming feeling because he doesn’t have the skills (in spirit) to handle what they are trying to do.
I hope this helps you figure things out. I can tell by the way Mike engages with them that this is not the right person. No offense to him but he needs to be on other investigations just not this one.

Whew!!! I felt totally invested in you all talking with Emma. It feels like the older male spirit is domineering over her and keeping her from speaking.
"Secrets" to me felt like he was feeling ashamed of telling his story. Maybe he thinks something bad will happen to him, or others, if he tells the secrets.
My personal feelings: The hanging tree spirits affect others near it. Jim should be especially aware and protected around trees. Mike is focus of anger bcuz he can "sense" things and their secrets are not safe.
Maybe Emma felt the angry spirits in the trees and tried to burn tree down (fire) and her hair was set ablaze. I feel like older male (Dad?, Uncle?) tried to help her out by dousing her in water, but angry spirits took over and caused him to drown her instead. So much guilt over it is apparent.
I am going to follow this story. I hope Emma AND the older fella get some peace and relief.

Alyssa you are helping to keep Emma feeling sheltered/safe. Keep that up. Tell her fun stories about things like getting a new dress, playing with a dog or bunny, baking pies with mother, riding a bicycle. She needs you to reduce her fears. Make sure you keep telling all spirits you mean them no harm.
Thank you for your input. I do let Emma know she's safe with me. The day after investigation had some food delivered. He was standing just below porch steps,while talking noticed him glancing to side of house. Thought he saw a little girl. I said he did. Told him about her, the investigation, her name is Emma. He's obviously sensitive, and American Indian. Thank you also for your advice.

having grown up in this area, I know it well. We played on Corriganville, we went to Carnivals at the Park, explored the movie sets. At one time we lived up the road from there and could see the old fort where they filmed Rin Tin Tin and many other westerns , from our front yard, that was about the time we met some of Manson's girls at the a neighbors house. Summer of 1969, little did we know then. The whole Valley has an aura about it... lots of darkness.. you just have to be careful where you linger...

I would love to see you guys try and debunk some of the activities. For example: when you were taking the K2 meter by Alicia’s pocket and to kept going off. Why not open her pocket or have her take off her coat to show that there were no electrical devices on her. Great fun to watch no matter what level of belief one has. Thanks for the great content.
I hate it when investigators claim something is "unexplainable" but they don't take the time to show viewers how they came to that conclusion. What exactly did you and the team do to first try and debunk the "evidence"? It's frustrating/irritating that this seems to be the status quo of most investigators.

I am a first-time watcher. Your channel just popped up on my screen. I clicked on it and have been riveted by the whole thing and everyone involved. This poor lady. Yet I feel she is strong and has specific knowledge of what is going on. I am not surprised Emma is attached to her. She is scared of this older man. He is holding her to him for very selfish reasons. She wants to tell them what happened and he does NOT want it to happen. If he would understand that he is creating more trouble for himself by doing this maybe he would listen, he is SO afraid to give up his control. It is like a shield for him. The medium is a huge help as well as being able to actually see them and know their thoughts. As a team you and your friend work so well together. He seems very sensitive and spirits pick up on that. He is very prone to having spirits trying to manipulate him. I enjoyed this very REAL investigation, not phony or staged in any way. I have subscribed and am looking forward to seeing you try to help this lady find some peace in her life and home.

What I found interesting is that many walk-in talkies effect REM pods and will give a false alarm when the walk-in is in use. Yet when you layed the one walk-in that kept going off it never triggered the REM. I’m convinced something paranormal and powerful is really wanting to be heard. Definitely a great location and video Jade! Always a banger!

I think Emma was standing right next to the home owner when the emf device kept going off next to her hip. That reminded me of a kid getting scared and standing right under their mom for comfort/protection, holding their hip or leg in fear. Great investigation. Mike was amazing as well, that's why that male spirit was so angry toward him. He wasn't putting up with that spirit's crap! 😂
Or maybe homeowner had something in her pocket that could affect the k2.would have been nice if she would have asked her if there was anything electrical in there because it did go off at the same e act spit and same 3lights lit up so that right there told me yup ,something besides a spirit was making it go off .too bad they didn’t try debunking it before just letting it go
I'm like Alicia. Many years ago, when I was in my early 20's, I literally used to WRITE it out because I know that "Death and Life are in the power of the tongue". Basically, the words you speak have power. I know that this particular verse in Proverbs is speaking about the words that you speak out of your mouth can be uplifting or damaging.
The evil spirits DO get stirred up when you speak about them. It's giving them more power. There was a time I wouldn't even talk about my encounters after dark because I would be tormented later.
Just watched again. SO much energy there! At the 50:00 mark it sounded like the older male entity calling Emma back as if he didn't want her to answer. Oh and Mike the medium is pretty darned awesome! And hellooooo Jim!

I just recently found your channel and I love your content! Incase it’s helpful, I am a medium and have been dealing with spirits since I was very young. The house that I have lived in for about 11 years with my mother now has quite a few of it’s own. One of which likes to present itself to me as my mother, I actually believed that it was her but it could not have been as she was actually in a different part of the house. It is not a kind spirit and had to be dealt with, a spirit stuck here after severe trauma and anger in his life, one who refused to move on and continued to feed off of any bit of negativity. Hope this helps, as I think that’s what she and her son may be dealing with.

Quite a decent investigation put together there 🔎 And I've watched investigations for over 3 decades. Localised main affected area quickly. It's very likely Emma feels protected near a mother figure. There is a bad presence around or presences. That need ridding.

Very good investigation ..I feel the house that she’s living in was the where the farm/homestead was.That could explain the amount of reaction to your equipment .The stern man is I believe the childrens father.And of course he does not want their business banded about.Accidents happened ,fathers were very strict.And life was very hard in those days.There are others outside but they don’t go in the home .Just the family do.Hope this helps a bit ..Love n Light 🥰

I'm empathic and I'm an paranormal investigator too I do not document with cameras around pods and so forth I use my animals my two dogs and I just found this channel and I was laying here you want my dogs start whining with something going on at that place I can feel it through my phone it's residual energy definitely and they do not want you there because of something more but happened then they want you to know so they're being defiant because something morbid happened there thank you I just thought your channel I'm subscribing and I'm your biggest fan now I watch quest nightmare and paranormal files now I got you to my list can't wait to see your future stuff going to Ben's watch what you do have until I watch all your videos God bless with your journey
