The difference between the Golgi and the muscle spindle has been confusing me and this video helped me understand it now... thank you!!
2nd year med student from UK here and for the first time I actually understand the patellar reflex. Much appreciated :)
This was so well made and the examples just made it completely understandable, thank you so much for this video!
Absolutely fascinating. I'm in at awe at this mechanism.
I think it was golgi tendon reflex primarily that lead to the tear of the bicep as the muscle was already in tension, stretch reflex has no need initiate itself. Overloading of the bicep lead to GTOs to come into play which as consequence created relaxation in the muscle, then stretch reflex came, created contraction and lead to muscle tear.
This is one of the most informative videos ive seen on the topic. Thank you so much!
Great video ! Made the whole Muscle Spindle and Golgi Tendon functions understandable. Thank you.
Great Video! thanks alot. Helps me alot with understanding.
Beautifully explained!
Thank you for the video. It is one of the most informative videos I've seen on the topic.
I’m only halfway thru this video but I’m crying actual tears coz I finally understand omg thank you life saver 😭😭😭🙏🏻🙏🏻
Thank you so much! You explained the concept so thoroughly.
This video is awesome, thank you so much!!
Thank you! I'm studying for my CPT cert. This gave me a better understanding of the Muscle Spindle and GTO....
Very helpful. The examples helped me understand a whole lot more
You just made Physiology easy
Thank You very much
Thank you very much for uploading this video
Nicely explained...... Thank you!
Super helful for my physiology lecture class. Thanks!
Thank you so much for this video. I was actually able to understand it! I was wondering if I could get a copy of the pictures? I have been drawing them myself but this would help and save me so much time!
First year of medical school. We went though 3 type reflexes. Finally get ideal what is going on during the lecture.
Wow, thanks for this video.. . Helped me a lot.. .
Thank you
Thankyou ,nicely explained pls upload few more videos of physiology
thank you, very useful video as I study to become a trainer
Brilliant
nice understanding 👌
Great video and amazing explanation!
You're very welcome!
Thank you sir so much, you are a life saver 😢😢😢😢😢😢💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖
Brilliant explanation..Thank you so much.!!
You're very welcome!
1st year med student from Istanbul university and studying at home due to coronavirus...Hope these days get over soon
Nicely explained
Thank you!
Clear
11:41 Maybe we can say that the biceps tendon came off due to the fact that the Golgi tendon complex ceased to perform its protective function?
How can pectoralis major tear the tendon off the humorus? These are complete different and not related body parts
ur awesome
where could we find muscle spindle?
they're located between the belly of muscles! :)
beautifully designed intelligent body... trust it.
Great video, but please correct what you said about when does a muscle spindle fire. It fires by contraction and by stretch. Not only by stretch. ;)
RIGHT?!
Nice work..may I say..it is the patellar TENDON, not ligament as mentioned in the patellar jerk explanation.
You're not correct. It's commonly called the patella tendon, but it is a ligament. It connects the patella and tibia. Bone to bone connections are facilitated by ligaments.
why can’t my school lecture like this for anatomy?
Sikeee! explained cholo madi
It is a pity that you didn't explain how the muscular tone works, but anyway thank you for your video!
