What a wonderful setting for a life with a family. The ones that moved to the big city in every country of the world was looking for something that was already there. The artistic nature of the ancient tools when used properly and with patience is unbelievable.

I barely remember my grandfathers. They passed when I was about 10. That was nearly 40 years ago. I lived in Dallas. Dad's father lived in Houston. Mom's father spent much of my early childhood in South Africa and Germany building television stations. He was an electronics engineer. So if you see anything off the correct channel in Johannesburg, SA, that was my grandfather's work. (Don't know how many stations the city has now or if the one he worked on is still on the air.) But, he was only home for a couple of years before he passed.

I was lucky enough to grow up in Tennessee where I could play in creeks, ponds, build tree houses and ride my bike all over White Oak Mountain. I can't tell you how much I miss that and how thankful I am that I was free-range kid
