This is IMHO what modeling is all about...build and fix as you go...I have seen some models even in the smaller scales that sell for ASTRONOMICAL prices...it takes away the fun.. I'm working on my vintage kits for enjoyment and the challenge without all those EXPENSIVE aftermarket products....I'm retired and on a budget so I take it as it comes...great work !!!!
This comment is full of common sense! This is totally my conception of modeling. These old models deserve a little work for a result that pays tribute to them! Thanks a lot and see you soon! Icône de validation par la communauté
Hello, I am delighted to read your comment. These old kits just deserve a little TLC. A good paint job, good documentation and some scrap plastic can turn them into very nice models. Thank you again for your kind comment. Kind regards, Stéphane.
I must have built three, or more of this kit when I was a child! It’s so interesting to see it built now and to see just how “wrong” it was! 😂😂😂 However, what a Phoenix it has been in your hands! 👏🏼👏🏼👍🏻👍🏻 well done indeed!
Hello Phil, I was surprised by the rather rustic look of the kit. The work was quick and it was above all the painting that completely transformed this antique.
Excellent video presentation and great build out. It definitely shows the evolution of molding and plastic thickness I remember so well. The materials we have available today are light years ahead of the past. Now, if we could just get the model prices of today back to 1950-60 prices :-)
Hello and thank you for posting this comment. I totally agree: the older kits sounded coarser and thicker. Nevertheless, their general accuracy makes them very interesting bases for in-depth work. Thank you again and see you soon. Sincerely, Stephane
Yoooou aarrre clllleeeverrrr. Very nice clever interior detail! Astounding, really. Now make a 110 with that cool looking early war 1940 splinter camo pattern!

Atentamente, Stephane.
I too have lost my heart to old model kits and I know how difficult it is to make something good out of them. You managed to do that with this kit. Respect.
Hello! I very much appreciate your kind comment. Building this model was a real pleasure: it is very simple with few parts; not having assembly instructions was not a problem. The difference was made on the scratch and the paint.
Delightful. Make no mistake, there's a lot of fun to be has with these old kits. Got my hands on an Airfix Fairey Battle of the same vintage. Hope you enjoyed this as much as I am.
Thank you very much Brett. This kit is pretty good...of course there's some fails like spiners, landing gear legs....etc, but we modellers are looking for some kind of artist vision... I am not an historian 😆😆. Thanks again 😉
Oh yes, it was really a very good surprise. A friend of mine sent me 17 old kits without decals and notice. This 110 was inside the pack ! Thanks for your comment 😁

The only thing that’s ‘surprising’ about this kit is that it is surprisingly awful in shape and details, yet your modelling skills have turned an ugly duckling to a beautiful swan. The paint job, the techniques used and the editing of the video are superb. Thank you

Magnificent work! A joy to watch the video.
Glad you enjoyed it! The 110 is si elegant !!!
splendide!
Nice job, once there wasn't all these aftermarket's accessories to detail our kits, the idea of using package plastic for the canopies is great.👍

Beautiful. Epitomises the old saying "to make a silk purse from a sow's ear"! Nice entertaining production as well. Very inspiring!
Hello, thank you very much for your nice comment. A lot of love and a good paint job....that's the secret. Thanks again. 🙂
that was the very first model I made back in 1960 ....Still making them now ,at the age of 70..it keeps your brain working ...

I built this kit as kid back in the 70's, and still remember those big chunky machine guns. Nicely done with what you had to work with.
