This is a message for girls who just recently got their period Don’t let anyone make fun of you for the products you use to stop the blood I’m saying this because I see to many girls getting teased because they don’t use tampons or cups, use whatever you want because it’s your body and don’t go around teasing other girls for the products they use because every girl is different and every girl doesn’t always wanna use pads or tampons or cups, remember girls support girls don’t bring others down because of the period products they use
Thank you for this,it’s definitely important for all girls to understand that everyone has different preferences when it comes to containing your period.❤
Thank you! I use period panties from thinx and modibodi. they are more comfortable then disposable pads. When I am very heavy I use a menstrual cup. To help with my period symptoms I like heat, caffeine and spicy things.
Hey, if you haven’t done this already can you do a video about saying yes to sex or a sexual activity, but then changing your mind? I view it as very important, and I’d love to finally have other people be more aware of it! Thank you, bye :)
@@shmeetnot everyone who has those parts identifies with she/her. like me, i have the female parts but i identify as a male. i am trans masc without surgery ever being done
I have a question. Most people say not to swim on your period, and leave it at that, but I'm on the swim team and I can't miss it. I'm 12 and am going to start my period soon so I can't use tampons yet. Is there something else I can do?
There are actually specific tampons for younger people that are thinner and easier to insert but if using a tampon makes you uncomfortable you can get bathingsuits that are specifically made for when you are on you period. They have built in padding and can be washed after.
Hi, I was on the swim team throughout high school. Depending on how heavy your flow is you may be able to get away with not using anything at first. (I wasn’t as dedicated as you and would sometimes skip practice that week). I highly recommend a menstrual cup they come in all shapes and sizes. They are hands down the most comfortable solution for swimming. Tampons are super absorbing and need to be changed regularly. Something that’s a bit difficult when you’re swimming for several hours. With a menstrual cup there is a learning curve but I honestly can’t recommend it highly enough for anyone who is active whether it’s running or swimming.
If you don’t want to use anything that you would have to insert you should be fine to swim without anything as long as you’re in and out of the pool quickly. If you’re comfortable with talking to your swim coach about it I’m sure they will I understand if you can’t swim
Thank you for making this, AMAZE team! 💜 Could you also make one about premature menopause in adolescents? As I may be a case of that, I’d like to find videos about it but since it’s basically unheard of, there aren’t any
@Cleo Hahn i can't believe something lyk that exists. never heard of it before but im hoping that someday you'll get treatment or something to cure it tho🥺🤧❤
my mum got her period at 14 - 15 yet i'm getting the symptoms at 10 i'm overweight and my mum says its to do with my weight and my diet now I regret all the cookies 😭😭😭😭
even if you are overweight it’s okay you are still beautiful ml don’t worry also i’m 11 and only got mine a couple months back and my mum got hers at 14 so it dosent depend on age Xx
Hey can you explain how sometimes periods can effect those with gender identity (that’s inclusive with bi-gender as well) and how dysphoria can effect us with periods, also how are ways we can imbrace our identities with our periods (comfidince)
Hi I’m new I have not gotten my period yet but I think I’m transgender but all the female role models I have tell me I will get it but I tell them no because I am trans but have not gotten my period since I was 8 years old

This a decent video for women and girls. Glad it doesn't talk about periods in a creepy cringe way
________________You don't think that not using "woman, girl, female, her, she" at all during a video about PERIODS is cringe worthy?

I worry about how to get the cup out once it’s filled
That’s super unlikely
So many people use tampons and I fine , my own experience was fine as well , don’t be scared
Question can I be comfortable using only a certain menstrual care item or do I have to be forced to use the ones I’m not comfortable with
Im no expert but no u should use what ur comfortable with

Great except do not use period tracking apps, they can use your personal information for things you don't agree to.

Surprised you didn't try working in that men can have periods.
