Moved here ten months ago and absolutely loving it so far! It has a great balance of being a big city with some good restaurants and nightlife but it’s also small enough that traffic isn’t always at a standstill and you can always get away to nature on the weekend easily. Plus the four full seasons are wonderful and the sun is so strong with the altitude that the snow doesn’t stick around for long
Negatives are large amount of homeless, and really competitive and expensive housing market
Yes, I started and finished a road trip from Denver last Autumn from the UK and loved it! We stayed in the River North Art District!
How safe/dangerous is Denver?
@@gudnytX it is pretty safe compared to many other major cities. The only thing you have to do is not keep anything in your car bc break ins are supposedly common. I haven’t seen or been a victim of it but it’s just what you hear
@@gudnytXI think it’s alright it’s still not the safest but still safe compared to many other cities however there’s a very very large amount of car theft especially at DIA
I moved to Colorado 7 yrs ago from Atlanta ga.Never regretted it ❤😊
Thanks for taking us along for the ride! 👍👍👍
I remember being a kid and watching "Denver, the Dynosaur" cartoons. 😊
You just awoke a deep-seated memory. I always thought it was Demper though. Watched it from Kenya. Where are you from?

What a beautiful city! Denver surprised me😊
yep. looking much better than 2020
@@jutah Love your videos. Curious, what camera are you using for your videos?
Oh wow! I don’t guess I’ve ever sought Denver out before but I’m glad I found this video because this city is perfect!
He spent more time at a red light than anything else and you call this perfect?
@@SgtSteel1 if he spent that much time at red lights he would’ve edited them out, so chill tf out with the dramatics
@@christianbryant5617 Dramatics? you're the one that called the city "perfect"
@@SgtSteel1how is calling a place perfect dramatic???
@@vmann1237 The word "perfect" nothing is perfect.
Cool video. I'm taken aback by the minimal foot traffic in the city, & in some areas, none at all
It definitely depends on time of day and the weather but Downtown isn't really the place to be like it was pre-pandemic. It used to be pretty crowded but right now it's only truly alive on weekends
Yeah a lot of areas of the city (except downtown) aren’t really walkable
Very nice thia Drivong, thanks!!!👍
Какое у вас интересное дорожное покрытие. Спасибо за прогулку!
Just curious. What makes the road look so different from what you have? Is it lighter? Smoother? Rougher?
@@christianbryant5617 concrete roads in the middle of city streets (instead of asphalt). We use concrete on highways only (rarely) and in villages. It’s known as bad roads. Also you’ve got a a lot of brick crosswalks - we can see them only in Moscow and some old cities. Russian workers prefer to build ugly speed bumps on crosswalks every 100 meters
@@АндрейБаженов-щ1ы hmm interesting
Denver is so much bigger than it was when I moved here. Been here 25 years - it is a beautiful city in a beautiful setting. The weather is some of the best in the country, and it's also one of the fittest cities in the country (as well as one of the USA's best sports towns!). Denver is dealing with a spike in crime and homelessness right now, but overall it isn't bad. Liberal policies and an influx of people have changed it a little bit.
From Indonesia with love.
There are many clouds, but the blue sky is beautiful
Awesome driving tour as usual. Do Colorado Springs if you can.
Bonjour super vidéo, vous filmez avec quelle caméra ?
Can you explain to me why you turn the car off every time you stop?
Idk exactly but I think some newer hybrid or sm cars turn the engine off automatically if there just sitting
Wow, beautiful! ❤
From italy 👋
Omg, welcome to denver!
Dang, you're quite the traveller , you get around. Cool upload.
Cool video thank you. I wish the poster would have gone further south on Broadway.
It may seem cold and quite but that is because it is a cold day.
Nice driving tour.

Third generation Denverite before my kids and my grandkids. This video starts coming into Denver heading East off Colfax. It sucks the over population and high expense living here.

Although I am not American, when I read the name Denver, I remembered the Civil War, as it was the first spark from there and also JIM REYNOLDS
good job friend
The civil war in America did not spark from Denver.

You know what would be cool, if you were to record the route you drove, export the gpx, import it into some map app, and showed a map with the route at the beginning of the video and perhaps at certain intervals during the video.
ive thought about that. thx for letting me know!
Cool!
Very nice video , please can you till what kind of camera you use ?
Looks like you need good car insurance to drive here 😂
How far is it from Denver International Airport to Pepsi Center?
Pretty far the airport is kinda out away from the city and Pepsi center is downtown I think
From Abu Dhabi,UAE
How do you manage to get those stable videos? What kind of camera using and mount/stabilization please ?

Lol, its america. All their cities are empty.

So many old and beaten up cars
Thought there's a homeless problem
The homeless crisis is over exaggerated by the media
This was filmed too early (11am?) for them to be up wandering around, while their tents are all at 29th & Arkins or other river banks.
Yes not everything Fox News says is entirely acurate...
J surprisingly didn't come across the homelessness. But as a Denver resident, and someone who works specifically with Denver's homeless population, as a case worker, I can tell you Denver struggles with homelessness. And the 45,000 migrants that have moved here in the past year.
OK

Why do American cities look so old?
Because they were the first to use early modern technology while a lot of other cities couldn't start building modern cities till well after the 2000s when stuff was newer.
@@azulaquaza4916 I see but Europe has older cities but don't look as old somehow.
