    Great video... What’s great about the rizoma is the ability to tilt the fairing to meet specific needs and tweak as needed.

    I reused the OEM torx bolts on the top of the forks because they were the exact same length as the bolts supplied by Rizoma.

    Great looking NineT. I have the aluminum fairing on the midnight black NineT, but that looks great with the aluminum tank.

      Randall Casciello thanks! I love the Aluminum tank as well. I plan on getting the rear cowl as well.

    Pretty good, edges a bit sharp, but apart from that, good quality. Nearly 1/3rd of the Rizoma price.

    Cool video, may i sugest to use some headlight protection while intalling the screen, i used a helmet bag around the headlight.

      Pedro Freire I would love a picture or link to that.

      Timothy Z , hello my suggestion is just while installing, to wrapped the headlight in order not to scratch it.

      Pedro Freire I see I misread the original comment. Great suggestion!

    Not a fan of the 4 exposed black screws on Rizoma -- better if brackets welded, IMHO. Nice bike!

      mule65x I am not a huge fan of them either but I can live with it. Thanks for the compliment

    Thanks for the vid, I've bought a Chinese knock off, that came without any instructions at all.

      Jeff Green you’re welcome how does that knock off look?

    Does it affect your ability to to change light bulb and other basic servicing of the bike?

    • @smoothdurban
      @smoothdurban  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Tonyzee I haven’t had to change to bulb 💡 but I would imagine it would need to be removed. There are 4 small screws through the front that are easily accessed.

    Looks great. Have you noticed any significant improvement in wind deflection?

    • @smoothdurban
      @smoothdurban  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Brian Lucas I haven't really driven the bike at highway speeds for more then 5 minutes as of yet. I would say it helps a little but it is more for styling.

    Your fork bolts should be 15 foot pounds (20-22 Nm) not 15 Nm as you mentioned.

    Any issue with the cables? I just installed mine and I don't really like how much the cabling rubs on those fairing supports.

    • @smoothdurban
      @smoothdurban  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      C C the kit should come with some shielding that you use to cover the metal supports. I cut mine in half and used them it on both sides

    • @ccorey183
      @ccorey183 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@smoothdurban I actually just went out and purchased anti friction tape. I wrapped that side a few times. It appears to work pretty good.

      C C awesome I love the look of it but the functionality is minimal

  • @iwasherefirst786
    @iwasherefirst786 6 ปีที่แล้ว

    Apart from the look does it offer any significant wind protection ?

    • @smoothdurban
      @smoothdurban  6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I was here first the wind protection is slight to none. It pushes the wind up to my helmet at cruising speeds but that’s about it

      smoothdurban ok thanks for the info. I may just leave standard.

    I like it. Shame it doesn't sit evenly. That would bug da sh it out of me.

    I got the fairing used and i didnt have the spacer and bolt. Are the bolts same length as the factory bots and what is the length of the spacers? I need to find alternative..

    • @smoothdurban
      @smoothdurban  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      I believe the bolts that hold the fairing to the triple clamp are longer. Without removing them I couldn`t tell you exactly how long. I would recommend using some stainless steel or Aluminium washers as spacers and then stack them for the desired thickness.

    • @tonyzee8528
      @tonyzee8528 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      smoothdurban thank you so much! One more question, what are the two pointy plastic nails with the rubber washers for? That run perpendicular to the fork bolt? It doesnt seem to hold anything in place.

    • @smoothdurban
      @smoothdurban  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Tonyzee those plastic washers simply act as a buffer between the bracket and the fork. My guess would be they keep the bracket from making permanent marks on the fork tube

    • @tonyzee8528
      @tonyzee8528 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      smoothdurban thank you! It seems like the spacers are also designed to stop the mount from scratching. Appreciate your help!! God bless

    How do you find the screen any good

    • @smoothdurban
      @smoothdurban  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Chris Le Couteur I like it. It looks cool and adds to the appearance of the bike. Installation is easy and if you keep the box you can always re sell it if you don’t like it.
