2022 WCS Jerry Vandiver and Caitlin Evanson

This annual symposium is a mid-winter gathering of kindred spirits in search of knowledge and a sense of place. Its purpose is to educate and remind us of how sacred, fragile, and endangered the remaining natural wilderness areas are, and to celebrate wilderness experiences in our northern Canadian habitat. Caitlin Evanson has toured as a fiddle player and vocalist for Ringo Starr, Taylor Swift, and Shakira to name just a few. A prolific songwriter with placements on television and radio, her voice is fun and angelic, bringing a new and engaging personality to WCS.
Jerry Vandiver is an award winning songwriter with song credits on over 15 million records and paddling credits on countless rivers, streams and lakes across North America. Together Cait and Jerry team up to bring both fun and thoughtful music to this year's Symposium, including songs such as "My Other Car Is A Canoe", "No More Room In The Van", "The River Just Flows" and "Peaceful Waters".
