Free Masons Club celebrate New Years eve on Mott street NYC Feb 9, 2024. Fireworks banned by Gulliani in 1997 disrupted the ceremony to drive away the evil spirits, brought decades of bad luck to NYC. The fireworks exorcism drives away the evil spirits represented by the gunpowder smoke drifting away. After the disaster of 9/11 and Covid, Chinatown could use some good luck in the year of the Dragon!
