New York Choy Lay Fut Bare Foot High Pole Lion Dance- Chinese New Year/ Super Saturday 2024 🦁🥬🦶🏼

This is a lion dance performance by New York Choy Lay Fut on Super Saturday 2024- 2/17/2024. The Performance took place in front of Bayard streets meat market De Chang.
The lion dance is unique in which there was a high pole used for the performance. Additionally, it was a snowy day causing the performers shoes to be wet making it difficult for the lion dancer to climb up the pole. This is my first time seeing a bare foot lion dance high pole performance.

Guy had the right idea climbing up barefoot, it's always how they do it over seas. Doing it in the cold is extra hard though, kudos to this guy!
