As a self taught artist, now in my 70s I find this very inspiring. I am not ‘known’ but have been painting for over 40 years and somewhat ‘accomplished’.. the idea that one can continue to grow and develop a new style is most invigorating. I subsidized my self as a chiropractor for 36 happy years but art was always my first calling. Very cool. God bless.
A lot of almas art is mostly about flowers, born in Georgia Columbia, went to a all black public high school,became the first to graduate with a bachelors degree, inspired kids to take art, escorted beauty club to see a famous painting, studied painting in the 50s, has a abstract art style, her house was her inspiration for her art, created a new style based on the pattern of light through trees
To each his own. Looks like 3rd Grade art class work to me. So you actually prefer her "art" to that of Michelangelo, Van Gogh and Rembrandt? Favorite artist indeed.
I mean, art is art no matter how you slice it. Even art at a third grade level is still art. I respect your opinion but be less rude about it next time you express a differing view.
