The story was actually compelling in how it was tragic. Shadow had freaked SNT out so much that she was afraid Sonic would react the same way, but this time he isn’t a creep and accepts her rejection. Yet their former friend’s turned to the dark side.

I've always had it in my mind that modern SNT is a deconstruction of the Mary Sue archetype. Like she's a Mary Sue, but doesn't realize it and that's what makes it funny.
Yeah, and it helps that Courtney is self-aware. Plus Modern SNT is just so likable!

You can say whatever you want about the story, but nobody can deny that the wedding taking place on Angel Island with Knuckles following an Echidna wedding tradition in front of the Master Emerald is a pretty cool idea.
It would be cool to see how this wedding tradition works, but with actual lovers who deeply love each other, not SNT and Sonic ^^'
I love hearing people's self-insert OC fanfics and how they were back then. It reminds me of when I was a teen trying to find out what character to make.
Back then, I used to try and make an OC to make Sonic like as well, and also have another OC to be me in the world. Both of them now are completely different characters.
The fact that I was too lazy and unmotivated to write down any of my embarrassing and cringe OC fanfic ideas ended up being kind of a double edge sword. Yeah, maybe I sparred myself and others embarrassment, but on the other hand, I never flexed my creative muscles and deprived myself of some laughs, as well as some reflection on how far I came. Though my fanfics wouldn’t have involved romance melodrama, but pure unadulterated edge. Let’s just it involved everything early pre and post teen found “badass”. Dinosaurs, bikers, demons, Hell, sword, guns, the Apocalypse, everything a sexually frustrated 13 year old boy in his Linkin Park phase could dream of and muster.
Admittingly, I had an even “worse” OC idea than that…… Soniczilla…… I’m going cringe myself into a stroke. Courtney’s tenacity in sharing her OC to the world and embracing it in a way is nothing short of admirable.
Believe it or not, but i also had the same oc story.
Where my oc is a stand in for me. First name chosen was sonica lol then sonia then changed to elise cuz i really liked that name, she was a hedgehog then became a cat, and sonic being there as the love interest obviously and he was the oc soulmate lol (though not directly since i referred to him by his archie canon name maurice he was still him but not named sonic), other sonic characters were there too and they would go on adventures and my OC was the strongest and smartest and the most beautiful girl ever...
Basically classic mary sue stuff.. and everyone loved her and she was a princess too, a clusterflunk of events.. of course being a sonamy fan (my OTP until now btw) and during a phase sally was there and she was a villian that everyone hated, but now i don't hate her since i grew out of that phase lol.
But like the perfectionist i am i realized that sonics character in my imagination did not match with his canon persona so i started deviating until i scrapped everything and started from scratch since nothing fit together.
Now, i have an entirely new concept that i have been told to write and publish but would rather not to since its my safe space, i toned down my once mary sue oc a lot, she is now a lamb because its fitting to her character, she isn't hyper intelligent but has below average IQ and to balance things out she has a high EQ which basically means she is an emotional dum dum with a pure soul which is the personality i am aiming for, a little bit on the chubby side since she is a foodie and a master at cooking (don't ask where i am from we learn domestic work from an early age) she is a homebody and very family oriented, i didnt like how she was the strongest in a magical and physical kind of way so i took away the physical strength and replaced it with general above average agility, as for magical prowess, she has an edge there but her magic is very rarely used as it would make her a walking target advertising to be killed (an ancient extremely rare magic that every time it is studied the documents are "lost" as it was never intended to be discovered or studied in the first place) this magic has its own quirk as it doesn't cause destruction in any shape or form and doesn't harm anyone that is not a demon (practically it does more harm than good to the owner of the magic as in ultimate good to everyone around the owner but ultimate bad to demons which is why it makes the owner a walking target advertising to get killed because demons will do anything to get rid of the owner of such magic).
And the love interest is completely different, he is a battle hardened veteran who is learning to love again with the assistance of my oc after a traumatic past and to deal with his anxiety and immense stress, in my world he is considered to have below average looks and his scars make him look worse but fitting enough he is considered to be the strongest in my world, as for his name he is still named maurice as a homage to my love for sonics character and a connection to my early childhood imagination.
They are not opposites but what one of them lacks the other fulfills, for example: what my oc lacks in maturity it's made up with her husband's experience, wisdom and maturity, (they are married btw) and what he lacks in emotional understanding is made up with her compassion and sensuality (he has a high IQ but very low EQ an aloof practical genius in other words)
Their love story starts with them being childhood sweethearts but separated because of the need for him to serve in the army and study to build himself, then reunited under marriage where both learn from eachother and grow together to build a family that they would never allow their children to commit the same mistakes they did and give them what the didn't have in their childhoods (only my oc has neglectful parents, the husband comes from a very loving and supportive family).
This is just the best i can do to shorten the story since i also fleshed the world out with historical figures (my own figures ofcourse) magic laws, demons, angels, despite the magical aspect i still lean heavily towards a slice of life story. And make it as realistic and sensible as possible.
As you can tell, i hate when something is inconsistent or doesn't make sense.

Honestly, if there was an ending to SNTs story, I'd prefer her and Amy to start dating. Ever since the alternate endings with Flaming Knuckles, it's been in my mind. The original song being about SNT liking Amy helps.

SNT's wedding design is very cute, cute dress, cute hair/quills.
As for the shipping war between ShaNT and SoNT... Like... It's very weird to think about because she's technically related to both of them. The "S" in SNT's name standing for Sonic, so just straight up is related to him. Shadow and SNT are both creations of the Robotnik family, seeing how Eggman probably made SNT based on Shadow's blueprints. Just really weird to think about.
Also Knuckles being the one to wed Sonic and SNT is great, and weirdly a major character growth for him seeing how he was jealous of SNT being a thing in the first place.
That’s why I ship SNT with Amy 💙💖 have some kind of thing for tsundere

How many teen drama shows did child you see?? Also, child you unknowingly had Shadow give Snt a black rose, which means death and tragedy from one of the many flower meanings websites, so you had Shadow threaten to kill Snt as well if she didn't call off the wedding. 😳
Now I’m just imagining this scenario but in a parody style of how eggman is the only one who realizes how dumb this forced wedding is and enlists Rouge to help him, and then when Shadow has his hissy fit, Rouge talks sense into Shadow and he teams up to stop the wedding. Either it gors full parody and with eggman genuinely being concerned about the forced marriage, or it turns into a crack treated seriously because it then becomes an eggman plot that rouge and shadow were tricked into. But then that would make sense and not truly be a classic SNT tale

When I'm more invested in the stories of SNT than the actual plots from Sonic Colours to Forces.
Honestly this channel was the only thing keeping me going after Forces came out for Sonic.
I loved this! I'm glad we finally got some content behind this. The commentary and visuals are hilarious, and the story is exactly what I have come to expect of preteen Courtney. Also cream as the flower girl was a good choice. Nice job again!

Trust me. You want it that way. As an Aspie with ADHD I can actually do this on and off whenver I want because my mind just won't stop flowing with creativity and I usually go "younger me" when off the record writing just to dump it all out so it doesn't clog up my thinking time.
But the problem is, sometimes it just won't turn off for a LONG time because my ADHD can just randomly go "Ooo! That looks like a cool idea your 'younger you' came up with let's hyperfocus on that for 20 days instead of what you're supposed to be doing!" and I can't do jack else till my ADHD goes "Okay I'm board, let's do something else."
This is so much funnier now knowing SNT × Amy is goin strong 😭😭

Ya know after this video it made me wonder what will happen to Sonic after this? I think after this whole wedding fiasco and somewhere along the line that SNT loves Amy and THEY got together, I think Sonic would keep his emotions down and hide his feelings from his friends so that he can be an inspiration to his friends (just like game Sonic.) And also so he wouldn't hurt SNT anymore and would just keep moving forward, never showing off any emotions like being sad so he can keep her safe.

I realized something: When the wedding scene was crashed by eggman, shadow, and rouge, in the cameos we see Maria the hedgehog. I think This is what I got- Maria and shadow were in a relationship, that was when shadow met SNT, and shadow dumped her. But Maria still cares about him, so that is probably why she has a worried face when the battle starts.

I have a question of this “special aura” can develop more feelings as it getting powerful like so powerful a normal character can become like a Yandere or so what obsess like in one of your videos you said the special aura can make them continue fighting I feel like once the special aura continue staying the more powerful again I’m for sure myself how it works.
