😅I had one in the late 70s . A 1974 mx 74 - 70 cc 4 speed . Absolute weapon of a motor. Suspension was as it looks , but just jump on and kick it and ride for hours . Ultra reliable . Loved it
I also remember the Ossa, Montessa, Maico and Bultaco bikes from those days. Sure would like to find a few of them that might still be around. There used to be a large motorcycle salvage yard in Payson, Arizona that had one of the largest collection of bikes but a large fire destroyed everything.
@@JeffIsaac I have ridden all of those back in the day but only owned Suzuki's from a TC 90 J to a TS 400 J and TM 250 and TM 400. All were a blast to ride.
It really comes down to personal preference, every bike regardless of make and model had some form of design short falls. There were performance and handling enhancements for everything out there. I won several races on my TM Suzukis back in the day after some modifications were made.
A friend of mine had one of those back in the day. Pretty cool bikes. Looking forward to your progress.
Beautiful little bike, the YZ80 Yamaha owes it a lot!

I've ridden a few Bultacos my uncle owned, but I've never owned any bikes from those manufacturers.

I think these were built in Taiwan. I have old Cycle magazines with ads in them. They had one called the Indian Boy Racer.
I seen one it was noisy and slow we passed it on push bikes
