it's quite a talent to be able to make quite complex procedures seem logical & manageable; your tutorials have just the right amount of detail, avoiding both over-simplification and over-complication; would be great to see more from you one day! If not, thanks for the ones that already exist, they are still a great resource for current DCS players.
Happy to see some new content! I've been learning so much about DCS A-10C, Su-25, and even a little bit about the Ka-50 from your videos. The detail and obvious hard work that goes into your videos are really second to none! Keep up the great work!
John Kowalchuk Yeah even my private in game instructor/friend has me watch the Bunyap tutorials to fill in the gaps, and they have taught me so many tricks.
If you don't like punching the CDU buttons with the mouse and prefer using your numeric keypad on your keyboard you can use the following shortcut LCTRL+LWIN+KEY. For numbers use LCTRL+LWIN+NUM0..NUM9 (Numpad keys). For characters use LCTRL+LWIN+A..Z (Alpha characters)
Howdy, do you happen to have the mission file available with the shooting range targets in this Mission? The mission editor hates me, but I have the package downloaded from the 476th.
+MrJazzinman Never mind, figured it out. Noticed when applying the ruler in the mission editor map for range and bearing that it differs by almost 12 degrees in the TAD map when using Bull Curser mode.
How do you slav you sensors to the newly entered location? My tgp was not SOI. I know that I can manually move them but in the video it appeared to automatically aim that way. Any info is appreciated. Thank you.
AJ Obis Press China Hat Forward Long. That command slaves all sensors to whatever you have selected, in this case, your new waypoint. Depending on which stick/throttle you have, you may need to go I to the Controller settings and manually set up your HOTAS controls. If that's the case, go to Settings>Controls>select A-10C Sim from one of the dropdown menus>then select HOTAS from the other dropdown menu. Scroll down and you should see China Hat Forward and China Hat Aft as well as all the other HOTAS controls, such as TMS, DMS, Boat Switch, CMS, Coolie Hat, etc.
One problem for me with the ingame DCS JTAC it's this: the JTAC give these type of coordinate GG456789, when you entered it it gives you GG 45600 78900. The "00" are big problems when you just have JDAM bombs and no other weapons or no TGP. DCS needs to change this and make the JTAC give accurate coordinate like this GG 45689 78945
Typical complicated US aircraft. Using two different formats for grids is ridiculous. We are our own worst enemy. We over-complicate shit all too much.
8 years later and these videos are still the best tutorials on the A-10C
Come back Bunyap, it ain't the same without you ;
Your videos are by far the best. Clear, concise and informative. You obviously have instructional experience. Thanks

Nice one Bunyap i have struggled creating way points for ages and this just nails it the easiest and simplest tutorial to follow thanks for uploading.
I love these A-10C videos!
Thankyou so much! It's so easy when someone explains it properly.

Great job. Thanks!
very useful tutorials as always!! good job!
Very helpful vid! Always been wondering how to do this using an external data link...Also can't wait for the MIL-8 test flights!
I noticed after the first input of coordinates when u cycled through them the tgt pod was changing views.
How do u do that please?

Good info! How did you figure out the utm coordinates of your target when setting up the mission? I'd like to practice this without relying on a JTAC.
