    Hi! I love the way you explain the budget. I am absolutely going to follow your example. I have been struggling for sooo long on how to make ends meet and understand how the monthly versus yearly expenses work together. You opened my eyes to ...ohhhh that’s how it works! It makes so much sense to put money aside for future expenses such as Halloween, Thanksgiving and other holidays as opposed to waiting the last minute to shell out cash and be left broke. Thank you for sharing this. :).

      Comments like yours always make my heart happy! The launch of our budget workbook and cash envelopes should be before the 15th of June so keep your eyes peeled. I will put several notices out!

      I have friends that did really great with cloth diapers other friends had a lot of trouble finding daycares that would do cloth diapering. If there were still diaper services I would have been all over it.

    Hello again, you said if I had any questions I could ask. Ok, to break down the bill into deducting a little from each paycheck. How do you get started doing that? Do I need to get a month ahead to be able to pay them like that? Why is this being so difficult, I think I'm making it more difficult than it is. Still yet, it is just not clicking for some reason. I printed out your form to go by and I have filled it out, I think it's right. Now I just sit and look at it, I guess it's suppose to tell me what to do next. Any help would be most appreciated.
    I also wanted to let you know that I love your story, you are one amazing women. And you have a beautiful family!

    • @LininUpDucks
      @LininUpDucks  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes generally you need at least half a months expenses set aside to start breaking up all of your bills. I just did a new Video on it. Check it out and let me know if you are still confused. th-cam.com/video/eR8A9lZodaE/w-d-xo.html

  • @squeekiedodson5448
    @squeekiedodson5448 4 ปีที่แล้ว

    Oh please help, very confused! You and your video's have been such a help to me and it is one that I can follow. When it comes to our sinking funds, I get paid every other week and my husband gets paid on the 4th Wednesday of the month. So I am totally lost, should I just do my paycheck for sinking funds?

    • @LininUpDucks
      @LininUpDucks  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The best way would be to assign different expenses to each check. For instance, if your checks covered all of your bills then assign your husbands check to fund all of your sinking funds or visa versa. You are definitely not the only one with this question. I’m working on a video about differing pay cycles.

    When you are making this style budget, how can I divide my monthly bills/expenses and still make payments on time?

    • @LininUpDucks
      @LininUpDucks  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hi Olivia thanks for watching! We have a month ahead fund for our bills so we pay this month’s bills with last month’s money. This video explains it in detail.
      Get a Month Ahead of Your Bills: th-cam.com/video/-7yxMUJ9mTM/w-d-xo.html
      When we started getting paid every two weeks the moving pay dates threw me for a loop for a while. The month ahead fund has been a GAME CHANGER for our budgeting and completely takes the headache out of my monthly budget.

    Do you have a video that shows exactly how to implement the month ahead fund on the worksheet? I'm trying to work my budget but not sure what should be paid with maf. Or should the maf just be in the same account bills come out of? Also, is the 2nd paycheck paying for the first half of the next months bills and then the next months 1st check paying for the rest of each monthly bill so you are a half a month ahead on the bills?

    • @LininUpDucks
      @LininUpDucks  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Watch my Month Ahead Fund video and it will explain everything in more detail. Basically you have a separate account for paying bills (your month ahead fund account). Every month you put your bill money into that account. You will pay this month's bills with last month's money and constantly be replenishing it with your deposits from your current month's paycheck. Let me know if you have any other questions after you watch this video. Thank you for watching!

    Rents and utilities takes most of our income. I lived P2P, but I was happy to have the incomes.
    I was able to travel, buy what I wanted, and I do have a budget to this 79th year. I help non beggars help themselves, and I still saved.
    FYI:
    Thank you for your excellent videos and stay safe and blessed.
    Expose all of these Greedy Criminals!!!
    Thank you God for not making me a GREEDY and Dishonest crook. I paid my own rent, car notes, utilities , vacations, and I help non beggars help themselves.You reap what you sow, and stop thinking the rich, by hook or crook, are better than anyone else. God does not have favorites, and we go when the wagon comes. GREED and being HEARTLESS will and is destroying the world. Put a d before anger, and you get danger.
    SOLUTIONS: DEPORT to the wilderness of Alaska and Siberia one way, and harvest their organs.
    Decent people want to enjoy our cities, and we are not beggars, but want to earn our incomes.
    ALL LIVES MATTER!

    • @LininUpDucks
      @LininUpDucks  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Maybe just a smidgen :-) It is actually more expensive to feed one person (per person) than it is to feed a family. You just have to be careful to plan your menu around having no waste in your grocery purchases.
