- It has been over 100 days since South Africa's Government of National Unity (GNU) took office. Investors have cheered the new political stability in South Africa after the formation of the Government of National Unity (GNU) after May's elections. However, the government faces challenges delivering on long-standing infrastructure and policy issues. Investors believe that if the coalition can maintain political stability, it will buy time for deeper reforms to take hold. To talk more about the GNU's 100 days, we are joined virtually by the BUSA CEO Khulekani Mathe and a senior research fellow for African diplomacy and leadership at the University of Johannesburg, Dr Oscar van Heerden.
