These should be a standard for any new roadways being built around the world
Uhm, they're building ecoducts in the Netherlands for ages. The first one was apparently in France in the 50s.
I'm pretty certain that the image shown at 6:00 which is also used in the thumbnail is in the Netherlands.

@@LeafHuntress love that!
@leifhuntrees...Uhm, "they are building ecoducts for ages"?
@@codymoe4986 A writing technique known as "hyperbole".
Highways as we know them today have been around for less than a hundred years. So of course the "for ages" was meant to convey "a very long time but i don't know for quite how long."
That's why in the very next sentence i gave the info that i did know; first one was in France in the 50s.
These things have several names, personally i prefer the term ecoduct, as it mirrors an aquaduct & the original Roman aquaducts must've been used by some species to traverse the landscape.
Thanks, something positive in this crazy world
In deed we need more Wildlife Crossings that protects both Animals and People.
Nature 1st!
Thank you Elohim it’s about time.
This is Higher Christ Consciousness kicking into gear. So happy to see humans being considerate, compassionate, kind and respectful to animals and wildlife. This is the future. Lots of love, light, blessings and kind thoughts from a wildlife conservationist in Zimbabwe 🇿🇼
Dear Lord, we need these in western Pennsylvania.
Wonderful idea! Every state should build these! So important!
I think this is something everyone can agree is good. Animals deserve a place to safely access their land, and people will have fewer collisions. Win for all
Houston recently added a huge wildlife crossing in Memorial Park, which is inside the loop and just a few miles from downtown. It is stunning and also pedestrian friendly, so everyone benefits in the middle of this traffic congested city!
I was wondering if this idea was similar to what Canada did for the Trasn Canada highway and @ 2:35 just answered that which is awesome for these animals!
