She also still takes damage, can get grabbed out of foresight(frame 7 spotdodge against grabs), and has +5 frames on both of her rolls and spotdodge! IT'S NOT OVERPOWERED, IT'S A MECHANIC!
There is still a big difference between an intentional foresight and a unintentional one The unintentional one will usually buffer a roll immediatly after, while those that know it will happen will get a good punish Another point I want to make is don't over rely on foresight, you will get grabbed
More tips: Foresight is not invulnerable, so the beginning of spotdodges and rolls can get hit by things like (command) grabs, thwack or K.O. Punch. Trust me, don't try to roll against incineroar's Side-B Some multi-hits like G&W Nair are easy to foresight between every hits (foresight is frame 2 so try to buffer it post shieldstun) You want to foresight things only if the frame advantage is important or if you're sure to get something, else just parry, just as easy but you don't take damage and it's less punishable If your opponent want to approach with a projectile (Mario, Pichu, Ryu...) it can be tempting to just foresight everytime but good players will stay safe and mixup what they do afterwards, they don't win the interaction but they don't lose it so be careful (to not grab the spotdodge for example) I see your spodtdodge/airdodge habit 👀, stop it it's bad, just use more movement based mixups
Been playing Aegis strictly because I want to have more tools against Cloud. Foresight is an absolute game changer and I've been able to hit it semi consistently but this video is super helpful. Thank you so much! Also Foresight on Cloud Bair is crazy good.
A few things to add : 1) foresight is not always +9, it's +9 for spotdodges with spotdodge cancel (something that let's you cancel your spotdoges earlier with grounded attacks), because foresight always add the same number of frames to your opponents but rolls and airdodges have more endlag so you will be neutral or even negative in some situations (but still less than a regular airdodge) but yes outside of spotdoges forsight is closer to a parry in terms of frame data. 2) as Baselard said, the slowdown effect of foresight has a range of around a third of battlefield so be mindfull of that and 3) foresight is NOT intengible, you can still get grabbed, thwaked, ko punched, kamikazed, etc - use jab or jump to beat grabs instead Bonus point - foresight is still a roll/spotdodge so it is susceptible to stalling, the more you try to use it, the more lag it has and so if you abuse of it not only will you not get any frame advantage but you will also start getting punished for it
Mythra gets grabbed easily with having the intangibility later, good thing pyra is available Oh gezz 2:55, the little character at the bottom looks off with it turning off and on like a robot. It like fading colors quickly which looks bad.
Bro can you send a video how to improve defensive options of Aegis Without foresight I have encountered very tough opponents who punish well I get punished a lot by the airdoghe
Wait. Does foresight start on frame 2? So this means that if Mythra can escape from a combo, than you can bet your ass that also Snake can escape, because he has the Frame 1 grenade.
Having 6 extra frames from Foresight is pure $5:99 DLC!
@@dabcat939 pay for the frames 😎

Focus on a goal indeed. And it's good to hear the Torigoth day theme.

Honestly the best advice I've heard on foresight. Thanks for this one

This is just what i needed thanks so much
so that’s why sparg0 says aegis is cloud’s worst matchup 😂 makes the bair spam fall apart
Thanks for the guide
This helped me thank you for the video
I remember when Mkleo was a GOD using foresight...now everyone even Shuton is really mixed up about that.
Bro can you send a video how to improve defensive options of Aegis
Without foresight
I have encountered very tough opponents who punish well
I get punished a lot by the airdoghe
Why did I never think of FSing Kirby's landing UpB? I'm so dumb
How different is aegis’s foresight than bayos witch time?
no clue
Do you mean bat within
@@KadenzJade6447 ok yeah I def did mean that idk where I heard “witch time” from lmao
bat within does not slow the opponent down at all, it only lets bayo escape. also bat within is frame 1 airdodge not frame 2
good video:O

Yes
nuh-uh
People complain about Foresight all the time... but bro, that's just the power of the Aegis. You can clap now.
