The video was extremely helpful in illustrating the importance of pre-teaching key vocabulary before delving into a lesson. By introducing and familiarizing students with the specific terms and concepts that they will encounter during the lesson, educators can significantly enhance student comprehension. When students already have a basic understanding of the vocabulary, they are better equipped to grasp new ideas, make connections to prior knowledge, and engage more effectively with the lesson content. This proactive approach to vocabulary instruction not only reduces confusion but also boosts student confidence and promotes a deeper understanding of the material. Ultimately, equipping students with the right language tools at the outset helps ensure that they can follow along more easily, participate more actively, and retain the information being taught.

thank you and yes super important that we include everyone when teaching...from the super smarts, the students that are little slower, the ELL or foreign students, the teacher is the one that makes this happen and prepares everyone to learn.

I was introduced to jigsaw groups when I was in college. It is useful in supporting cooperative learning and also celebrates student diversity for group assignments.

This is a great video that breaks down key words that are used in the PPR . Ms. Sauceda helps explain them and puts them in layman terms in order to make it easier to comprehend. This video also does a brief overview of the blooms taxonomy. Something that new that I learned in this video is the jigsaw strategy and sheltered instruction.

Looking for key words and phrases are so important and key to taking this test as a word or two can be the difference between getting a question right or wrong and ultimately passing or failing the test
