- A bystander jumped off a bridge into the water below to save a baby ejected from a vehicle after a crash in Maryland. NBC’s Garrett Haake spoke with the family who helped bring the baby and the good Samaritan to safety.

And everything work out that boat was there to help him person who don’t want to me named. If everyone would act like that person there would be a lot less hate in the world
This 'good samaritan' is a truly wonderful man. To go after that child in the water is something not many people would do. To jump off that bridge at that height into water without knowing how deep the water was or if there was any obstruction underwater that could have caused his death on impact is complete selflessness and bravery. That is a hero! The couple in the boat being there - the right place at the right time - your quick thinking and actions cannot be understated!
I agree. GOD has great plans for your life. Let him guide her upbringing while we sit back and marvel at “how great thou art” 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼....
100% he seems he didn’t even hesitate that’s so awesome. That’s what should always happen instead of recording the child drowning.

Watching this actually made my day, the fact that the person jumped off the bridge and risked his own life to save another.

@Darryl Darichuk everything happens for a reason... we don't know what reason why they had to experience this for whatever trials and tribulations they were going through in their family.. maybe the Lord had this happen so they can appreciate one another because in a Split Second your life will change the Lord knew that no one was going to get hurt because he's in control we don't question the Lord we trust in him

I think God put them there that day to help save the baby and the selfless Samaritan.
Yet another reason why guardrails should be much higher on bridges. Having gone over that bridge many times, I’m amazed more cars and especially trucks don’t blow over.

I think maybe we leave this one up to The Lord. he will hand out rewards in his own due time, he may have a huge treasure waiiting for that man in heaven.
The folks on the boat deserve some credit to. The guy who jumped in the water is a good samaritan. The folks on the boat just pulled them out, but helping is helping no matter how big or small.
This is the kind of person everyone should look up to....not the overpaid athletes, Hollywood actors and or politicians of this country.

God put a veteran sailor who knew the bay well right where he needed to be to be his best self in that moment. That was also a miracle.

The Good Samaritan's name is Jonathan Bauer. He wished to remain anonymous until he knew the baby was okay; a humble man who felt embarrassed to have the attention being directed toward him. He is a man who clearly understands, as Mother Theresa said, "that we belong to each other". So happy to hear the child is okay. Thank you, Lord, for giving Jonathan & all who made this wonderful outcome possible, the ability & the courage to act, & for keeping them safe while they did so.
