Yo man, I'm the guy that made the track and it's super cool to see you playing it! I'm gonna let you know right now though my tracks are not a good representation of how people build tracks in sim. I build all my tracks in 1:1 scaling (or as close as I can get) and some of them are extremely unforgiving, this being one of the easiest I've made. Also the reason your laps aren't counting is because I think I misplaced a timing gate, my bad lol. EDIT: Also it looks like your texture settings are super low, the normal maps aren't working either so definitely turn up your graphics settings if you can.
The reason that the power feels so strong is because of the track you are riding, if you were to ride a pro sx track the power evens out quite a bit, also with time trial it clocks ur fastest lap every time you cross finish line, track cuts come by timing gates which is normally every few jumps, cuts are somewhat hard to get unless u miss multiple jumps per lap
Also I think if MX bikes had a better fall down mechanic kinda like Sim would make people feel less willing to crash because of the time to get back on the bike vs hitting the reset button.
I watch MX sims pro series because it’s almost as enjoyable as IRL and arguably at times it seems the same in terms of enjoyment for me.
i love both games so much ive put like 700 hours into mx sim but i would have to say mxsim is a lot harder to learn in my opinion

i used to play sim before bikes and was alright at it, i can barely ride at all now after playing bikes for a few years. its for sure easier to go from sim to bikes than it is from bikes to sim
Another really good track is the sim bros Steese facility, has great traction and it is great to learn how to whip

If you want to know what MX simulator feels like? Turn direct lean to 0% on Mx bikes.. I use to play at 8 percent and have recently switched to 50 percent and it has been a game changer for me. I got tired of having to counter lean/steer just to get your bike back to straight.

@@troyjannn ay bruh, that track ur on looks hard. try easier tracks.. DELB SX.(funnest/ esiest track) SIM BROS COMPOUNDS, MAT ROB Designs tracks JS7 , BLOCKPOUND 2017, to name a few. but like you were saying, how you always gotta counter steer. turn up the "LEVELING" in advance settings. turn it to about 25-35 starting out. leveling = how fast the bike will come back up straight again. basically it will help ur guy lean back up himself, instead of you having to counter steer back. . . everyone thats pro runs it at 20. i CANT soon as i get under 25. my guy just falls over, idk how the pros stay up. but ya about 24-30-35 . start 35. if its too much. turn it down to 30. n slowly get it lower # because the lower the number the more play youll have in the bike / turning
@@troyjannnif you want a really good track for motor cross in sim get dr dew racing compound. It has great flow and the traction is pretty good. Make sure to rail the ruts tho

gotta go try the RF pro sx tracks, rhythms are more traditional and a little wider might help. Also a lot of people rarely sit, it'll say "dabbing" top left to show when you're sitting. Go watch a pro's pov and they don't use it as much as you'd think. Kinda weird
You basically stand and sit exactly like you would irl. Aside from using dabbing to kind of scrub speed off of jumps or help not crash in some situations.

For me it took like 4 months to just get around tracks ok and did not start to get good until about 6 or 7 months is when I could get on a server and have fun and just race and actually keep up with people but I could not even ride the 450 until like month 7 and now that's all I ride
to be fair with the power band on this sim i rode a honda crf 450r and it is obnoxiously fast i was at the beach and i couldn´t make it to 4th gear

Mx bikes netcode made me put the game down after 1k hours. Sim just works, simple as that. You get out of it what you put in.

As someone who hasn't played either game this looks so much worse than MX Bikes. One major thing to me is that it looks like your rider is a giant compared to these ramps.
Looks bad graphically because this guy has no mods bad graphics setup and bad tracks. Like this guy doesn’t know shit lmao it’s hilarious to look at him talking about overpowered bikes when he’s playing the worst scaled tracks in the game and he couldn’t even hit a easy triple on a rf track.

Maybe there's mods for the first person cam in sim, but first person is a big deal to me and from some of his mx bikes videos it just looks so damn good to me. I'm kinda just figuring out these games exist.
@@devilhacker2064 No mods for first person it's like 3 seconds in the settings menu messing with fov and other sliders and it looks good (or at least good enough for most of the top players to use it)
That’s only because of the track he’s on… the track he’s on is using a 1:1 scale which isn’t the norm in mxsim

In my opinion, MX Sim was way easier than MX Bikes. The biggest issue I face in MX Bikes with around 19 hours is controlling the bike through corners and getting the rhythm sections down.
I guess I'm just use to arcade motocross games lean stability
