I forgot to refit the oil filler cap on a customers car once but luckily the workshop controller saw it before the customer drove away. He shouted at me in front of everyone, including the customer and I never forgot again...that was almost 50 years ago!! Great video guys as always. Love from the UK
Hi Love our area. Your lucky that its winter, Usually there are tons of bugs out there. Thank you for telling everyone about Lake Bonneville. Most dont get it.
You hit the wildlife jackpot on this video. I didn't realize how shallow Salt Lake actually was. I agree about the sunsets on the still water beautiful.
Antelope Island looks amazing! We boondocked on the west side of the Salt Flats. It was amazing but I wish we had known about this to spend a night or two! Good job respecting the wildlife as well to keep you AND Ruby safe ;) Utah is gorgeous. Can't wait to see more Utah videos from you both.
Nice! We were really surprised at how vanlife friendly the Great Salt Lake area was - it'd be cool to do a loop around it one day! Hope the bugs weren't too bad for you guys 😅
I love the fact that you guys have literally traveled all over the world and now your discovering places in the USA that rival places you've been far, far away.
We read about the bugs - so happy we came through at the perfect time! @chrisschiel6741 from our research, it seems that early spring/late fall are the best months to avoid the bugs 👍
Antelope Island is within view of where I live. In the previous video, you drove near the Snake River and wondered where the water came from that cut those deep canyons into the lava beds, well that my friends was Lake Bonneville. Great video, I really need to get back out to the Island again.
We are at Antelope Island this week and decided to look back at the video from when you were here. Guess what…we have the same campsite you had! The weather is perfect and we are enjoying this peaceful place. We enjoy your channel!
Antelope Island is beautiful, but you may want to avoid it in the spring. You will run into swarms of mosquitoes-not the wildlife you want to see. And it was an actual island until a few decades ago, when the lake waters receded. Now it is actually a peninsula. It’s great you had such a good time.
Be thankful you're not out on the Island in the summertime. The brine shrimp stink so bad. I love right next to the Island in a little town called West Point. Enjoy you time here in Utah.
Welcome to Utah! You picked a perfect place to land. A while back they had a music venue. All the kids used to go to get away from the strict rules of the city. Looking forward to your next stop.
Your videos keep me striving towards my goal of working remotely so I can eventually live on the road and eventually go full time with TH-cam videos. What a beautiful place, adding this to my bucket list. Thank you for all your hard work editing this videos and sharing your experience the good, the bad, and the down right ugly.
Hope you get to make that a reality soon! We may be a bit biased, but it's pretty much the best life ever 🙌😝 If you do end up visiting the island, we definitely recommend a the spring/fall, but if you happen to come in the summer, bring lots of bug spray!
This was the first time I've seen Antelope Island. I agree-it is INCREDIBLE! I've had vehicle maintenance issues that resulted in a mess and mechanical problems. I feel your pain on this one. I'm glad you were able to stop the oil leak. Getting underneath and confirming the oil filter is on tight may be a good idea. Happy trails and tales to you both.
Wow you guys! That was some great shots you took in this video. 👌 We’ve been watching you for a few years now and really enjoy your material. You mentioned at the end of the video if we noticed you had a good time there; well we did and the shots you took definitely reflected that. Anne and I kept saying thru out the video, look at that shot.. look at that one… man! Hehe.. very satisfying to watch. You’re very talented. Two thumbs up.😎🎬🎥👌 Eric & Anne
Wow, thanks you guys!! We knew the island would pretty, but we were not quite prepared for how amazing it actually was in person. And because the lake was super calm, everything reflected perfectly in it. 😍 So glad we were able to capture and share the beauty with you all 👍
so sad. You were in my town and I missed seeing you. I would have loved to see Clementine and Ruby heading down I-15. Love your content and watching your adventures!
Wauw Antelope Island looks amazing 😻 Beautiful footage of the lake mountains covered in snow And the wild life roaming around stunning 😍 .Looking forward to your next adventure 🥰Safe. Travels
Seeing you two happy makes me happy : ) You guys have the most epic adventures. And it makes me happy that you can find joy in life despite the loss of Eric's mom. : ( I know that was a bit of time ago, but I still very much remember the video and way I felt your pain at least a tiny bit. I can't only imagine how raw those feelings are for you guys. I'd glad your still finding awesome adventures out there on this very very very large Earth.
Loved this video- looks absolutely amazing. We watch you every week and your videos have led us to some great recommendations on our road trips to the states! P.S we love the fact you enjoy a drink 🥂 🍺❤️
So happy you've gotten to visit some of the gems we've explored on the road! Even after living in this country for decades and driving around it for years, we're still constantly blown away by all the amazing sights and cities that we'd somehow never heard of!
Great fun videos!! Love watching you guys. Why not try a Bees Knees cocktail next? Homemade honey simple syrup, fresh squeezed lemons and some citrus gin!! Yum!! 🍋
Eric, you totally need to just break out and cuss! LOL. I know you were really pissed about that oil cap! Content and B roll is on point in this one! Nice work! Really beautiful location!
We love Antelope Island! So glad you went there. Too bad you didn't go to the salt lake and see the brine, very cool. We are looking forward to going back there to camp again. It's truly a hidden jem.
A Wisconsin Old Fashion - 1 park each orange juice (simply orange), bourbon, simple syrup (optional), 2 dash's orange bitters. served cold or over ice with boozy cherry’s for added goodness a little cherry juice. I almost always use a peanut butter bourbon.
❤ Love to you both...so pleased to see you still on the road with 'Clementine' & 'Ruby' and living the life of happy adventurers, doing so well, and kindly sharing your experiences with us. 🇺🇸❤Looking forward to your next videos too.☺️🏴❤️🇬🇧🖖
Beautiful film. For me, this was the essence of RV life. I'm not really interested in tourist trails, shops, restaurants, etc. I like being able to drive or ride into the wilderness and enjoy the nature. You certainly found it on Antelope Island.
Put a cork in it, Ruby! What a fantastic place for wildlife lovers to camp. The water levels do vary considerably from year to year. People who come to see the famous Spiral Jetty are sometimes disappointed because it's been swallowed up by water. I'd kind of like to experiment with non-alcoholic cocktails (mocktails), such as different kinds of fruit juices and tonic water. I often default to cold-brew tea with sweetener and fresh lemon juice in the summer; a homemade Arnold Palmer, if you like. Also, hibiscus tea is very good.
Hello Allison and Eric. Once again I went through that part of the world around this time of year on the Greyhound, but great to see things I had not time to get to, even if I did get a glimpse of them in passing. Thank you.
There is a time when there is a spider infestation, and bugs in abundance during summer. You guys are fun. Have a safe trip wherever you are going, next.
OMG you guys were just in my backyard. Plus you picked a great time to visit because when it gets warmer the mosquitos are terrible out there. Safe Travels.
One neat thing about an owl is a 50 pound beaver is scared sh!tless of a 4 pound owl. The word buffalo has roots back to latin times. The explorers and trappers that went all over North America in the early 1500s knew what an european water buffalos was and may have even hunted them, so they called the animals in North America buffalo since they resemble the water buffalo. When you see a sign that a native tribe called them buffalo they would need to have been people from europe meet that tribe before the late 1400s. In fact for the word to come from North America it would have had to travel to europe over 2000 years ago. Hope little Ruby is all good. Stay safe and healthy.
It's OK to have beer a day lol or a drink it helps u sleep 😴. Thanks again for sharing this journey n adventure with me. God Bless Ya'll. Mucho Love from your friend in Michigan, Tam ❤❤
omgnesss guys I'm starting in less than a month!!! Thank you so much for showing me I can do it and where to go! I'm in an old school Rv too and I am so excited. I also recently lost my mother to Cancer. it gives us another look on life doesn't it? But This video is getting saved so I dont forget this place.
Hooray!! Excited for your upcoming adventures! So sorry to hear about your mother. It definitely changes you. But we're sure she'd love knowing that you're out there living life to the fullest 🙌
Antelope Island has been on my bucket list for YEARS! Mainly because I really want to see the Pronghorns (I never really luck out with seeing wildlife without specifically going on an eco tour or safari- Australia and Namibia are the two exceptions with places that I've been)
We feel the same - it seems we always miss the wildlife. 😒 Luckily Antelope Island is a guaranteed way to see some amazing animals. 😍 Hopefully one day you'll get to Antelope Island we'll get to Namibia - that's high up on our bucket list!
Awesome content - Antelope Island is great, you were there at a great time, bugs are not out yet... No see Ums or marsh flies are "bad" during warmer times - Cheers

Hi Love our area. Your lucky that its winter, Usually there are tons of bugs out there. Thank you for telling everyone about Lake Bonneville. Most dont get it.
Looks like Utah is popular for YT vids right now. Enjoying the scenery.
You hit the wildlife jackpot on this video. I didn't realize how shallow Salt Lake actually was. I agree about the sunsets on the still water beautiful.
So many animals! 😍 We had no idea the lake was so shallow either. We'll have to come back in the summer and try swimming (aka floating) in it!
Thanks for taking us along to Utah! Scenic, picturesque and very chill 👍🏾
I love the drone footage
Oh wow! That Island looks epically beautiful 😃

Glad you're enjoying the local adventures as much as we are! We knew the west would be cool, but every state has far exceeded our expectations 😍
It doesn't freaking bother me. What the frick
While you are in Utah you need to visit a soda shop. ( Swig, Fizz..) Utah has a BIG soda following. Please give it a try.
Antelope island is my backyard glad you guys loved it! You came the perfect time because antelope island is known for awful bugs as it starts to warm.
What time would be best to visit.
We read about the bugs - so happy we came through at the perfect time! @chrisschiel6741 from our research, it seems that early spring/late fall are the best months to avoid the bugs 👍
I've heard Utah and Colorado are the most beautiful states. California too, i want to see all the national parks!
You crazy kids make my hometown look good! Can see Antelope Island from my front yard. Welcome and wish you'd stayed longer.
My wife and I hiked Frary Peak 2 days ago, we love Antelope island. Glad you guys enjoyed it as well.

The drone footage in this video in particular is amazing! The practice has definitely paid off.
I lived in Salt Lake City area for a few years and loved going to Antelope Island to do photography. Such a beautifull place.

Wow. Fantastic camera work.
Amazing wildlife on Antelope Island! If there was a cantaloupe island, I'd like to visit that, too! 🙂🦌🦌
We love Antelope Island! So glad you went there. Too bad you didn't go to the salt lake and see the brine, very cool. We are looking forward to going back there to camp again. It's truly a hidden jem.
One of my favorite summer cocktails is gin, aperol, and grapefruit juice. I do 1:1:1, but adjust to your liking.

Great video as usual! The wildlife are fantastic thanks for taking us along xx keep smiling ☺
Hopefully I'll make it too the island one day xx

Beautiful views! Tatanka is a native word for Buffalo as well. A bison is pretty much like a tank. They were hunted for their fur and meat.
Our beautiful USA! Endless adventures await!

But seriously, that truly sucks when that happens. Glad it didn’t too any major damage.
Hello Allison and Eric. Once again I went through that part of the world around this time of year on the Greyhound, but great to see things I had not time to get to, even if I did get a glimpse of them in passing. Thank you.

Oh man! How did we not think of that?!!! 🤣
Thanks you two for another fine adventure enjoy .
Great video, really enjoyed your work and the drone footage. Thanks for sharing!! Tc from Nevada
Thank you kindly for sharing your incredible experiences. Antelope Island is on my travel destination for off season tourist time
Perfect! We promise you'll love it there!

I can hear coyotes from my bed at home - until my dog gets after it - haha - but then I see moose going to works so 😃
Amazing drink, 1 part whiskey, 4 parts lemonade, ice, and a sprig of rosemary!
I part pomegranate, 4 parts water and forget the alcohol 🧠 👍🕊
Good travels thanks😊try a Greyhound! I’ve also liked grapefruit and vodka! Both good and not sweet!
