I've been thinking about this stuff alot, like why did older parts resonate SO MUCH, and now they're forgotten in a few days. I STILL think about videos like Sight Unseen and that was from almost 20 years ago! I feel like there's SOMETHING missing from the equation but I cant put my finger on what. Is it the internet? Music? Editing? Nostolgia maybe? We do move too fast now I know that, you deff tend to appreciate things more when everything isn't handed immediatly right to u.
@@Bb186fo to me besides nostalgia is good music and the overabundance of content there is for us to watch today are the main reasons we don't retain even great parts for long. I have prob 50 vha/dvds still &.many I memorized them for years. Exceptional parts imo on thrasher I'll revisit like milton Martinez demolicion & Mason silvas' spitfire part

I love how you guys break down the tricks, and I especially liked the comments on the green tint. I wish you guys would talk a bit about the filming, editing, and song choice a bit more, too, though.
@19:21 clint walker 50ed this rail or similar in his ambig part. i think it was his ender. edit: damn just looked at the part and the rail in his ender was even gnarlier than this one. its really a shame that he kinda destroyed his career with injuries and bad PR, because his ambig part is absolutely incredible even by 2021 standards.

The video was gnarly, amazing skating and good music. My only complaint, which Baker 4 did a lot of also, was the editing style. I guess I'm more a fan of traditional model where everyone has thier own parts. Baker 4 everyone had clips in each other parts, but this video was even more mixed up. It felt more like a long montage. I don't even mind sharing parts, but figgy and provost started it out, then the other riders, then back to figgy and provost?
